Our second visit to Hill Cottage on Tanagra wine estate. We just love this cottage for two. Well equipped. No TV and no clock. Very cosy. Awesome views. Definitely a place to recharge your soul. Loved every second of our stay. The region offers much to do. Many wine estates to explore..the donkey sanctuary and the delightful village of McGreggor...

We spent 3 nights in the garden Cottage which was very good. The cottage is spacious and well appointed with everything needed for a self catering stay. Although the cottage is positioned pretty close to the pool, privacy is maintained with the patio well screened by plants and shrubs. The Tanagra wines are excellent and would recommend a tasting session...

Dazu bodentiefe Fenster, Licht...

Tanagra was a lovely experience. I was taken to Tanagra for a surprise weekend away. From champagne on ice waiting for our arrival to a self catered braai in the garden, it was a treat. The people are warm and friendly, the pooch is playful, the wine is good, the rooms are comfortable and the farm is beautiful. I enjoyed...

We loved our stay at Tanagra with our little girl. This working farm is in beautiful location just outside McGregor, with long views across the Robertson valley on the edge of the little Karoo. We stayed in the Garden Cottage, which was perfect for our needs. We appreciated the attractively-decorated and well-appointed cottage, and in particular the thoughtful guide and...

We stayed in the Loft apartment which overlooks the dam and vineyards. Very spacious with a huge comfy bed, lovely bathroom which opens out onto the dam, a deck with stunning views and braai area below with a hammock for snoozing. Robert and Anette were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Sadly the water level in the dam...

We had such a relaxing and enjoyable time at Tanagra guest farm for our 2nd wedding anniversary. The farm is very central, so both Robertson and McGregor are a quick drive away and there is lots to do in the area. The cottages are well appointed and tastefully decorated with fluffy towels and soft white bedding. The hosts are very...

We stayed in Garden Cottage for six nights. It was spotlessly clean and equipped with all we needed for a relaxing week. Robert and Annette are very good hosts helping big when needed but unobtrusive otherwise, and clearly know the local area well. We would highly recommend Tanagra.

We spent 3 nights at Hill cottage and was pleasantly surprised by just how well the accommodation was thought out! Every single aspect was catered for. Robert and Anette greeted us with such a warm welcome, we felt right at home. Hill Cottage is a beautiful romantic private one-bedroom cottage overlooking the vineyards. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace on the...

“We have enjoyed the Loft, just upstairs from the tasting room. Perfect place to relax, enough room for us, and outside breakfast on the verandah was a stunner.”

“If you need anything, just ask! Our king size bed had a net, but recommend bringing mosquito spray. A torch or night light is also a good idea as it is very dark at night. Limited cooking facilities. We stayed in the Garden cottage.”
