Our Gumtree cottage was perfect. Good situation. Good amenities. Amazing vew over the garden, near the pool. The stoap was a perfect place to drink a glass of wine or to take our lunches and dinner. We have made beautifull trail around the vineyards and in the Nature Reserve.

One of the most beautiful and remote venues! Once you reach your destination at Far Away, you will definitely not be disturbed! Open farm fields as far as the eye can see. Luxurious, plush, yet with a touch of African rustic! Shower as if in the field. Enjoy the splash pool. Braai (barbecue) outside... This is a must for a...

Tanagra, just outside McGregor, is a must see for lovers of grappa and eau de vie. You can be assured of a warm welcome from Robert and Anette and a generous tasting of wines and distilled products. They have lifted grappa to new heights using husks from Springfield's superb vineyards in Robertson. Thank you!

We had a wonderful three day stay at Faraway Cottage. The cottage is quite exceptional with beautiful Karoo views from every window. The design of the cottage is modern but simply furnished with everything required for a relaxing break. The setting is private with no other accommodation in sight. At night we could see lights in the neighboring town. The...

Our second visit to Hill Cottage on Tanagra wine estate. We just love this cottage for two. Well equipped. No TV and no clock. Very cosy. Awesome views. Definitely a place to recharge your soul. Loved every second of our stay. The region offers much to do. Many wine estates to explore..the donkey sanctuary and the delightful village of McGreggor...

We spent 3 nights in the garden Cottage which was very good. The cottage is spacious and well appointed with everything needed for a self catering stay. Although the cottage is positioned pretty close to the pool, privacy is maintained with the patio well screened by plants and shrubs. The Tanagra wines are excellent and would recommend a tasting session...

Dazu bodentiefe Fenster, Licht...

Tanagra was a lovely experience. I was taken to Tanagra for a surprise weekend away. From champagne on ice waiting for our arrival to a self catered braai in the garden, it was a treat. The people are warm and friendly, the pooch is playful, the wine is good, the rooms are comfortable and the farm is beautiful. I enjoyed...

We loved our stay at Tanagra with our little girl. This working farm is in beautiful location just outside McGregor, with long views across the Robertson valley on the edge of the little Karoo. We stayed in the Garden Cottage, which was perfect for our needs. We appreciated the attractively-decorated and well-appointed cottage, and in particular the thoughtful guide and...

“We have enjoyed the Loft, just upstairs from the tasting room. Perfect place to relax, enough room for us, and outside breakfast on the verandah was a stunner.”

“If you need anything, just ask! Our king size bed had a net, but recommend bringing mosquito spray. A torch or night light is also a good idea as it is very dark at night. Limited cooking facilities. We stayed in the Garden cottage.”
