Loved my experience at Acajou. Peaceful and safe location, friendly and accommodating staff. The grounds were impeccable and so beautiful. Great location for turtle watching. Delicious breakfast and service daily.

The cabins are very nice with a very modern bathroom and everything else is simple and rustic. Very comfortable place to be. The food in the restaurant is good a little pricey. If you go during late April until August you'll have the amazing experience of watch the sea turtles come in and lay their eggs and then head back...

My husband and I (both Texans) just spent our honeymoon here. Hands down, the best trip we've taken together. The bungalows are beautiful and clean. We had so much time to both relax with nature....and go on adventure hikes with the local guides into the jungle. The beach is a two minute walk away....you can hear the waves at night....

A beautiful place off the beaten path...this places offers a quite relaxing vibe. Really liked the decking with chairs & hammock to just hang out on. Nice view of the fisher boats and beach. Although not right on the beach it offers a nice setting back from the water. The food is very good and I would recommend having dinner...

Stayed here for just the one night. it's a very peaceful location within 100m of the beach and walking distance of the turtle watching centre. Very helpful and nice staff and owners who helped book the turtle watching for us. maybe a bit pricey for what you get but probably one of the better places in the area

Room was very small. At check in manager was less than welcoming. Restaurant staff was awesome. Dinner was less than average. Too expensive! Our second visit. Only restaurant staff welcomed us back. Good location.

the compound is very pretty for a nature lover- hard to find a place like this in grande riviere! It is beachfront but the water was REALLY rough and its a fishing bay. Therefore the corbeau birds were in abundance all over the Bay- so bathing there was not an option. The Customer service was impeccable especially the friendly staff...

The bungalows of the resort are really well done but there is no maintenance, the shower didn't work propely and the mosquito net of the windows was all damaged ! Other bed things was that the resort is not in front of the see us we suppose !! We discover in the morning that our bungalow was near the river.....

My sis and I journeyed up to Grande Riviere for the first time. The drive was a bit challenging at night. Roads could be better lit along some paths and repaired. The accommodation however was worth the trip. We had an awesome time. Breakfast was delicious too!! Will definitely go again.

We read, walked on the beach, relaxed some more, looked at birds, didn't worry about the rain, were a week too early for turtles but no matter, loved the food and the friendly service - everything as advertised and most acceptable.

“There is no A/C - but the ceiling fans and fans on a stand are enough that we needed the blanket at night. The hammock on deck is wonderful (hard to get out of if you have knee problems like me - but that didn't stop me from resting and reading in them)! Wonderful to listen to the waves.”
