Really enjoyed this resort after island hopping for nine nights. The staff were friendly and being a small resort, everyone greeted me personally and I felt so at ease here being a solo traveller. The guy doing the entertainment was great, he got people engaged...More

This is a dive - tourist resort aimed at the mid to upper end of the market. In Nadi, most of the diving and beach type of activities leave from the port of Denarau. Denarau is also home to the upmarket hotels in Nadi.
We stayed 2 nights in a dorm (14 nights in total at Octopus Ressort, Barefoot Manta, Blue Lagoon Resort & Barefoot Kuata). There are mostly dorms in the ressort which are a big tent directly at the beach. We saw one of the best sunrises...More

Other options are to charter a water taxi also from Denarau Marina - Mamanuca Express or Sea Fiji are a couple of these operators.
Travel by Seaplane is also another option. Flights operate 2-3 times per day by Pacific Island Air operating from Nadi Domestic Airport and Turtle Airways operating from Wailoaloa which is approximately a 20 minute drive from Nadi Airport. A 20 minute scenic flight from Nadi to Barefoot Kuata.
