This is a quite large, popular resort that attracts guests of all sorts - backpackers, families, older people. It has a bit of a commercial feel - don't expect to get to know the staff too well or get much of a cultural experience. But if you just want a great well-run resort, then you can't go past it. The...

Fun. Beautiful. Can I go back please? JJ and Peter do an excellent job in running this place - thank you for such a great stay! I went to Blue Lagoon first, and then Octopus. They both operate in a similar way with food and activities, but each has a different feel. Octopus had a little more spice and fun,...

It's heaven. This was the second time I have been there and still want to go back for more. You have to relax. The sand floor restaurant makes sure that you feel grounded. No need to dress up- it's Fiji and fun. You don't have that colonial feeling you feel at other Fiji Resorts as you are supporting the villages...

We were a group of 17 people travelling to Fiji and i have to say that this is far the best place we have been at. It is spotless clean. Both the bure and dormitories were very nice and well organized. Great food also. Beautiful beach and a lot of activities for those who can't stand still on a hammock....

My arrival at Octopus Resort was the start of 8 days and 7 nights of happiness, fun, pure pleasure and relaxation. My friends and I were lucky enough to be accomodated in the Point Premium beachfront bures and the rooms were spacious, clean, well appointed and very pretty. The view from our private decks was incredible; directly in front of...

We are a family from Switzerland with a kid (2) and spent on our world trip for one week Octopus Resort in Fiji (April 2012). The Resort was one of our favorite on our trip through the island of the Yasawa group. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and our kid was more than welcome. There are different rooms or...

If you are looking for activity filled days...this is not the place for you. Octopus resort is beautiful, definitely what you imagine when you think Fiji with its...

More of a resort than a partying or traveller's stop. I ended up here unintentionally after Beachcomber (where I'd originally booked to stay as part of the Tropical awegasm tour) burnt down. As with all the Fijian islands it is paradise and I was very sad to leave. In comparison to the others I stayed on (south sea island, manta...

Slowed down our pace immediately, in tuned with the Octopus of Waya. Excellent beaches! Swim, snorkel, photo-click your spectacular sunset, walk the sandy stretch to explore many remote spots, or you want to make friends and pick up a volleyball game? Plenty of activities for a week long escape on this dazzling getaway. Good size island, small crowd, great food,...
