Detailed Reviews
I visited this exotic island paradise from the 6 th August 2006 from Sydney. The ten day trip was so mesmerising it had a hypnotic affect,I extended my stay until the 19 th of December2006 .Especially, the friendly ,smilling people, not to mention the unforgetable sunset. It definately an experience of a lifetime. The hostels are very clean and the food(which is all included in the $41 per day) is above par.
I have travelled around the world, Asia,Japan,Korea,Europe, America(north & south)England,Africa, India- and I can undoubtedly say that The Coconut Bay Resort,in Naviti Island in the Yasawa Group,Fiji is the best of the best.

My boyfriend and I went to Naviti and stayed here in a double bure. The room was clean and normal salt water cold showers. The beach wasn't too great, but there is a lovely beach called Honeymoon beach which is a nice walk away either up over the hill, or along the rocks when tides out.
It may sound pretty average so far, but the staff were amazing!! They were the friendliest people ever. There was dancing every night after dinner. Cereal for breakfast. Tea and cake at brunch. Good lunch. Nice dinner every evening, with this great bread and soup for starter. (I adored that bread!!) It is a place where food is included and nothing else to buy. There are other resorts on the beach where you can buy drinks. But this resort was so nice. One night i had sea sickness from a fishing trip with them, and i stayed in bed through dinner. They sent a plate full to me (including the fish that the boat driver had caught for us) in my room. They are really thoughtful and notice when you aren't there.
Some of the younger staff took us back to there's for kava, which was nice as it was just my boyfriend and i and them. I guess that was because we enjoyed talking to the staff more than other guests. They even let me play in their netball training.
The only time that the staff were a bit off was when the boss came back and made them less social. But i don't think he's there very often, mainly on the main land.
