I did not want to write a review but I decided this would be helpful for future guests. We are a family with kids from Canada traveling for the first time to Fiji. This is a 13 hour flight. We booked a 2 weeks stay in late 2022 for travel in early 2023. With a couple of weeks left for our arrival in Fiji they decided to cancel our booking with no explanation or no alternative means of accomodation. It was the worse experience ever, trying to find a budget accommodation in Fiji on short notice. When we asked for an explination or other options they did not care to answer. We were very fortunate to have another property step up and accomodate us on short notice. Thank you

The place was absolutely disgusting. The bathrooms are uninhabitable. They are actually extremely gross. The photos are incredibly misleading on all of the vacation sites. The rooms are full of bugs. There is no WI-FI and the power is shut off to the place from 6am to 6pm. If you are going to Fiji for vacation, just pay extra for a nice resort. Staying at this place is not worth it just to see Fiji. To enjoy Fiji, you have to spend a little more and go to a decent resort like Mantaray.

FALSE ADVERTISING! Host was only money hungry. Waited 2 hours for our room to be ready which was disgustingly dirty. Toilet wasn’t connected to the floor and leaking all over the tiles. Bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned. Dinner was awful, overcooked and overpriced. No other food on offer, not even snacks. NO SNACKS, NO BOTTLED WATER, NO SOFT DRINK. Staff hadn’t made a supply run and only returned with expensive speakers and beer. Place is CASH ONLY, with no communication of such. No ceiling fan, cables hanging out of the ceiling from where ceiling fan had previously been. Pedestal fan broken. Lights were not working at night, had to use our torch. Booked in for 2 nights, left first thing the next morning. Will not be returning.

We took Seabus to Nacula Island on a very windy day. It was great to come ashore and be greeted by such friendly people. Our bungalow on the beach had fantasic ocean views and a nice little patio area to sit on. There was a hammock right in front too. The food was good expect fish, rice, and root vegetables. Breakfast was usually pancakes. The natural beauty of the area is just amazing. The other guests at the resort were friendly and we enjoyed conversations with all of them at meals. It was a very relaxing stay and we would go back.

We were a little concerned with some of reviews we read ahead of time. We were amazed upon arrival at what a fantastic place this is. The location is on the beach with beautiful hues of blue water, white sand beach, palm trees and hammocks. We pretty much had this gorgeous beach to ourselves, it was pure paradise. Our family cabin was comfortable for 4 of us, there are screens on windows so we didn't have any issues with bugs. There is a lock on the door and we felt very safe. The meals were good and they catered to our special diet. Breakfast was included while lunch and dinner cost $20FD per person. You do not order from a menu they just serve a pre-set meal. Our hosts were wonderful as well the other guests at the property. This is not a big fancy resort, but is comfortable and very affordable. It is important to know that there is no electricity during daytime, only at night. There is no air conditioning, but was not an issue with windows open as we had a good breeze. There is no hot water, but no problem since weather is so warm the water temperature was fine. It is a long boat ride to the resort on either the Seabus or Yasawa Flyer but totally worth it. They do offer free use of kayaks, Church Visit on Sunday and there are hiking trails. We did the paid snorkel trip to Blue Lagoon which was nice. We really enjoyed our short visit and hope to go back again. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

We have just had Christmas and New Year at Safe Landing eco lodge. This is not a "pamper palace", it is basic, clean accommodation for all pockets, it is directly onto a great beach with easy swimming in shallow water to reefs for snorkeling, it provides great value trips, fishing, reef visits and snorkeling, inter island transport, lessons on language, coconuts, canoeing and so much more. The staff are lovely and helpful. Drinks can be bought cold from the fridge, or filtered water is free. Our bure had a shower and loo and was perfect for our needs. We loved every moment. The breakfast can be a bit monotonous as it was pancakes most days, but there is unlimited coffee, cereal and fruit with most meals. The staff came out to sing us off the Island which brought a lump to our throat. Loved it and would not hesitate to go back.

Really wished we had booked longer here. Stayed 2 nights and got to participate in lots of activities. Loved the bungalows on the beach, lazing in the hammocks, snorkelling and our own private beach. The staff were lovely and the food was yum! I really enjoyed our visit to the village and meeting the chief. It’s a great location as it’s not too far from the caves, blue lagoon and other great spots. We did a hike on the island where the views were amazing.

If you're looking for beautiful beaches, beautiful and warm people and having fun, this place is the best place to go in the Yasawa. All the staff is very friendly and helpful, Tima and Naomi will make sure that your rooms are clean and welcoming and prepare great breakfast every morning. Nai and dodo will greet you with their warm Fijian hearts and help with anything you need. Chef Tevita will make delicious meals for your lunch and dinner. Bis and Malo will make you enjoy your journey for any activities that you choose. Plenty things to do, snorkelling, volley-ball, reef hopping, discover the Sawa-I-Lau caves, fishing, coconut demo, medicine lessons, enjoying the most beautiful beaches of the Yasawa and many more... You won't regret your stay in Safe landing Resort. Don't hesitate you'll have such an amazing stay!!

The arrival is beautiful, a beach second only to the blue lagoons (the real blue lagoon and the blue lagoon resort beach) and a very nice setting. The conforts are austere, very simple bungalows with cold water and spartan decor, a little bit rundown like it was better and decayed with time although it wasn't unclean. A restaurant/bar simple but enjoyable in front of another beach wit a nice sunset. Good activities and fairly priced. On the con side, very simple and uninteresting food, cheap but no fijian at all. Staff noy unkind but sometimes absent, Comparing with other experiences, the idea that in here you feel less like family and more like a client, not bad but less good. On the pros, apart from the paying activities, kayaks for free and an island beautiful as any other

The place was nice and clean. They are well organized about activities. Food was okay, we had pancakes every single morning ( a bit tiring if you stay more than 3 nights) not much fruits. We wished we had more variety of food and more fish instead of chicken. The owners were really nice to us, asking questions and making sure we were okay. But they lady who was serving us at the table didn’t offer a good service. I felt she almost wanted to kicked us out.
