Only stayed here a night to camp. The lady up front let us park behind the building as there was a 50 mph windstorm hitting the area. You can see the glacier from the property so it made for a nice view from our van. She also let us use a room to take a shower and freshen up which...

We decided to stay at the Brunnholl Guesthouse after visiting the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon. The hotel is a little out of the way (which is typical, being in Iceland) - so it may be inconvenient for those travelling without their own car, as it was approximately 30 minutes past the glacier lagoon. We had an amazing view of the mountains...

I would suggest changing the name of the property from "Brunholl Country Guesthouse" to "Boring Country Guesthouse". I understand that it is in the middle of nowhere and may have limited facilities, but it is substantially overpriced for what it offers. Bathrooms are tiny and there is nothing separating the showers from the rest of the bathroom, which means it...

We enjoyed our stay at Brunnholl even if it was just for the night. The room was spacious and clean. The woman at the front desk who I believe is the owner was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere but it was close to Jökulsárlón which is why we chose this location....

Very comfortable B&B-style facility. They have a full buffet dinner offered. The full buffet breakfast is included. If you opt-out of the dinner, you will have to drive 30-40 minutes into the nearest town. The rooms are fine and the bathroom spacious. We were given a handicapped accessible room, so the review of the bathroom may nit be totally fair...

Although a hotel, not a guest house, a great place to stay. Excellent espresso. Ice cream very good. View of the glaciers from the room. Perfect little cozy spots for viewing the sky. Heated floors. Front desk very accommodating and Pleasant.

We got to this guesthouse late, after 8pm. Misjudged the driving time from Skaftatell after our afternoon hiking on the glacier. Small sign and unpacked driveway in to Brunholl. My sister booked it ahead of time because it's a working dairy farm. Lots of parking although we were drenched from the rain that night and so it was muddy to...

Good place to stay for a night or two. Rooms were big & clean, decent. I'm picky when it comes to hotels but this was the only choice we had for the dates that we need it and I'm completely satisfied with this "guesthouse." It has a small town hotel feel to it, probably because it is in a small...

Very nice, new hotel. I would not consider this a farmhotel or a guesthouse. It just happens to be on a working farm. Small restaurant with good food, but we had better meals elsewhere. Rooms were small, but very clean and comfortable.
