We were lucky enough to get a room without reservation or even knowing the place, just after stopping at the beach and realizing: this place is truly lovely. Our room (ground floor, main building) had a fantastic view on the sea, the twin bed was flawless, the bathroom and shower were super-clean and in best shape. Needless to say, the... More

This was the best place to stay while giving our adult children a tour of the Ring of Kerry and Skellig Michael! We stayed in the two bedroom/two bath apartment which was very clean, well appointed, and very welcoming. There is a small kitchen as well as a nice living area with commanding views of St. Finian's Bay. Breakfast is... More

It was raining and cloudy when we visited, so if sunny would be even more beautiful. Friendly hosts, great room with a fantastic view of the sea. Breakfast was quickly served, and would have preferred maybe cereal etc first, but it set us up ok. In the middle of nowhere so had to drive to have a meal, but didn't... More

On the plus side, the host was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. There is a lovely little beach across the way that is perfect for photographing and exploring. We had privacy in the little cabin and plenty off space. The reason this b&b is only rated as average is the lack of heat. The shower went cold after one, which meant... More

The hosts, Bridie and Jack were so helpful as we were arriving at their lovely inn so late at night after a tire puncture on a wretched road after a diversion. We were late, tired and stressed and they were so very helpful. We then had such a short time at their lovely in which was unfortunate as it is... More

Peaceful B&B with charming host. Immaculate room, comfy bed, yummy breakfast. The location is standout - directly across from the beach and off the busy Ring of Kerry. Excellent nearby hike - Bolus Barracks Loop. Fall asleep to nothing but the sound of the breaking ocean waves. Drive to dinner is about 10-15 minutes.

We stayed at Beach Cove for one night, after driving from Kinsale to Ballinskelligs via Kenmare. This is a beautiful B&B with magnificent views of the Atlantic, and the Skellig islands in the distance. We were warmly welcomed by Bridie, who showed us to our wonderful triple room on the first floor (which was actually more like a suite in... More

The drive to this designation was absolutely beautiful! However, it was very cold and unexpected. The beach was just across the road and it was wonderful! This little area is a bit remote so dinner in town is recommended. During our time in Ireland, this B&B had the best rooms and space. The owner was very pleasant and helpful.

My husband, 25 year old daughter and I stayed in the self-catering apartment at the Beach Cove Inn during the first week of June 2016.
