We've planned to stay at Carrig House for one day, but couldn't resist the temptation and decided to stay for one extra night. First thing I will never forget is The Breakfast. Well, I've had quite a few hotel and B&B breakfasts in the past (some 1000+, so it means something), and one from Shirley and Maurice was the best...

I was recently on a walking holiday in the Burren Co Clare and stayed in the Carrig House for one night. The welcome from Maurice and Shirley was so genuine and I immediately felt at home. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable and I was amazed to see a real live hare pass by my window in the morning....

I had the pleasure of staying at Carrig House B&B for two days and in those two days Maurice and Shirely Glennon made me feel right at home. Shirley's breakfast are exceptional absolutely brilliant served up with Maurice's Irish wit made it all the better. Perfectly located just a short walk from the shops and Pub - ideal. When I...

Hi, Stayed with Maurice and his wife last weekend and had an enjoyable stay. Nice big rooms with decent shower. Had good craic with Maurice as he talks non stop but in a good way. If you want a traditional Irish b and b with no fancy extras then this is your place. Oh and the breakfast was delicious.

This B & B is first class, we have never had such amazing food before, the rooms were spotlessly clean, light, airy and very well presented with great views. This couple have worked really hard to the attention to detail. Thanks again!! And pets welcome too!!

My friend, her dog, and I stayed with Maurice and Shirley for 8 nights as we searched for a cottage to rent long-term (my friend intends to make this move to Ireland permanent). Our hosts went out of their way to help us--picked us up at the airport, drove us to get a rental car the next day, called acquaintances...

It's an amazing house. The bedroom is very clean and the breakfast is simply perfect. The garden in front of the house is perfect to walk and relax, and if the conditions are good, you can see an amazing view of the Cliffs. Maurice and Shirley are excellent and you can feel like home. Lovely place, a small paradise close...

Me and my friend came here after another B&B turned us down. We had the best B&B experience of our trip here. The hosts are very nice and knowledgeable and the breakfast is absolutely amazing. We arrived late, which was not a problem and Maurice called the pub in the next town to check if we'd still get some dinner....

We were welcomed by Maurice into his lovely quiet house. The Bedroom was clean and our dog was allowed in the room but with a surprise extra €10.00 charge on departure. The bathroom was so small that you had to slide onto the toilet to avoid bashing your hip on the sink. The Shower was also very small and there...

This is the place to go if you love to visit. The breakfasts are very extensive regardless of what you order; and very artistically done! Our room had a small balcony which overlooked the sea in the distance. Do not miss staying here if you are in the area!
