This is one of the best hotels we ever visited (and believe me, we visited a lot of them !). This hotel is OVERALL great: 1. The flexibility in reserving (we had to change the dates: no problem !); 2. The reception: great ! (very welcoming at the desk, luggage brought to the room, free parking, champagne and bubbly water... More

stayed for 3 nights, our fourth visit I think.make sure you take shower gel, shampoo and conditioner with you as 2 small (30ML) bottles were not replaced each morning eventhough they had been used which I would consider normal. no bath robes and towels at a minimum. breakfast was average.

Super location right by the Rhine. We had a very warm welcome by a charming receptionist dressed in a traditional Dirndl. She realised three of our party were english and was able to use both german and english to communicate with us. The hotel is beautiful both inside and out. The sweeping staircase is really impressive. We were shown to... More

The hotel is located in a small village about 10-15 minutes drive from Bad Honneff in Germany. It is not big, with very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms, very friendly staff. We had a luxury suite (the one they normaly give to just married couples) and it was large, with a balcony-terrace and a fireplace. Their blankets deserve to be... More

I stayed here recently for 3 nights whilst attending a course. The village of Unkel is a pleasant surprise, very pretty and quaint. The hotel is very traditional with large rooms. The food was good, we had buffets throughout, with a decent variety of options made available. The only letdown was the airconditioning. During my stay it was very hot... More

The room was absolutely outstanding. My room was right on the courtyard where the outside dining area was and it provided lovely views of the Rhine. The town is a very small quaint town and though I was there for business, this hotel strikes me as a great place for weddings and romantic escapes also. Highly recommended.

We stayed for one night while on our journey through Germany. The Hotel has a fabulous position on the banks of the Rhine with extensive views. The Hotel is exceptionally well decorated and furnished with great taste. The Reception staff were helpful and very efficient. Unfortunately the Restaurant service lets it down. We booked our table for 8 p.m. we... More

Our friend celebrated his birthday at the Rheinhotel and we stayed at their hotel fo that night. Very nice place, beautiful room (we had #15), with very nice view over the river. Enjoyable! Unfortunately we had to leave early, hence we did not have breakfast and we cannot talk about that.

Stayed here in March 2014 while attending a business seminar. The welcoming by the head porter Mrs. Schilling was warm and accommodating. The room still at a low price was very spacy and comfortable with direct view at the river Rhine. The food was always very good and never boring. All personel was always accommodating and friendly. Already looking forward... More

This stunningly beautiful hotel is nestled along the banks of the River Rhine with the sleepy little village of Unkel on the other side of the Hotel. The food is just superb with a Schnitzel to die for!!! The service and staff is fantastic, and we had two large rooms for two nights overlooking the river. You could sit in... More
