This was a return visit to one of our favourite places. A lovely hotel in the best of situations, with great views from the spacious, comfy rooms, and a friendly welcome waiting for you from all the staff. The food is really great, the restaurant seems popular with locals and visitors alike which is always a recommendation, the breakfasts delicious....

Our second stay here. First time we stumbled on the place and had a lovely visit in the family attic room that had a double and single bed. This time we booked in advance and stayed in the winter room which is a huge room with double and single bed then a corridor off to a separate shower room and...

Excellent food and fantastic service - would go back for sure. As vegetarians there was a decent choice and helpings generous. The ambience was great and we felt relaxed and unhurried. Nice to have folks say hello when you walk in to a place rather than stare you out. Great find.

Homely, cosy and welcoming pub-based hotel. Couldn't be more accommodating and helpful for us and our 2 labs. Bar is traditionally snug, well stocked and with great atmosphere. Food is good and wholesome, amazing portion size!! Decent selection of wine. 5 rooms, ours was large and fully functioning. The hotel has areas that are a little tired, but a restoration...

This hotel is in a wonderful situation, amid stunning Scottish scenery and history. It is warm and comfortable with good food. However, what really makes it is the staff: not just welcoming and friendly but also very interesting to talk to. We will be back!

This was our first visit to Kilmartin - will not be our last. Nick and I along with the dalmatians had the best stay - dog friendly is an understatement for the team at this hotel. Food was fabulous, well cooked, presented and priced (we had lunch, dinner, and breakfast ... as well as a few drinks in the lovely...

My husband and I had a meal here while on holiday to celebrate our anniversary. They serve good pub food, menu to suit any palette and very friendly and helpful staff, in a cosy setting, would definitely visit again

One of the friendliest hotels we've ever stayed in. The room was comfortable, the bar was cosy, the landlady was lovely but the breakfast was to die for. Cooked to order and had the tastiest sausages! Price wise -so much value for money. Have recommended to friends and family and genuinely can't wait to go back for another visit.

The friendly helpful owner made us feel at home, and gave us a fantastic spacious room with a lovely view. Dinner was superb, above average for a pub and around £13 for mains. Breakfasts are cooked to order and there are a good range of options. The hotel is in the midst of refurbishment but it is really comfortable and...
