Difficult to find but a lovely hidden treasure. The welcome is OK but the best is the staff in the restaurant. Food is good and served in beautiful restaurant. New pool and renovation and expansion underway (spa, more rooms). Grounds are well kept. Many peacocks.......More
We got the "last room"...a suite with large bathroom and tub. An oasis is a rough looking town. Lovely grounds...the food was the usual Moroccan fare and above average. Lots of peacocks, so there is no sleeping in. Wifi only available in the lobby.
Run down hotel, not very courteous staff. Not the charm and hospitality we are used to in Morocco. It would be a shame that international tourists not experience real Morrocan beauties and hospitality. So do not stay at Hida.
Super close to city center (within walking distance to central square). Wonderful place with spaceious and clean rooms. Waiters who served dinner and breakfast were very unfriendly. Overall nic stay, but too expensive.
We (a group of 7 on an Intrepid tour) had an unexpected 1 night stay here as the destination we were planning to go to had to be abondoned due to road closures as a result of heavy snow.
Beautiful grounds & orange trees abound...More
