We had an incredible time at Sripanwa! Location: Just one hour fly from Bangkok and 40 minutes by van from Phuket International Airport, you will arrive at the paradise! Villa: We had two bedrooms Luxury Pool Villa and it was perfect! The bedrooms were spacious and provided you an incredible views (both one upstairs and one in the ground floor). The living room was extremely spacious and they had all the amenities needed to make the place your home. The Kitchen came with full of snacks and drinks which was refilled every day. The bed was so comfortable. Especially, our private pool was large enough for 4 of us. There was a seating area outside just for your relaxing. The sunset views from the villas are incredible! Facility: The breakfast buffet was excellent! They included pretty much anything you could think of. The fresh juices were our favorite. You could order off a menu for certain specialty items (like Thai noodles or eggs benedict) and grab whatever you wanted from the buffet. To make a rider in the resort, they always picked you up in a Tuk Tuk to take you to and from your villa. The two main swimming pools were functional. The Spa was the best! Staff: From the housekeeping to the FO staff, every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay so special. Every staff member is friendly and full of hospitality service. To sum up, I see no reason to stay anywhere else.…
This hotel is way too old and look nothing like the photo shown on the website. Also, if you are looking for a nice beach, this hotel is not for you. Beach here is super small and dirty. Staffs were quite rude and the service was overall very poor for a “five stars” hotel. Keep your money and spend it elsewhere.
Not quite sure what to say. In some ways the hotel was nice, in others not so much. Let's start by arrival, the power was out and we were not informed leaving us without power until close to 6pm although we did manage to speak to a supervisor and cleared things out so I wont dwell on this. We stayed at a two bedroom villa which had a nice masterbedroom but unfortunately the second bedroom was barely decorated and felt like a three star hotel, the room felt bare and sad. The TV was very small, The bed also did not have a topper and was one of the hardest mattresses i've slept on. Not to mention the faucet which didnt even properly extend into the sink. Overall the fixtures felt 10 years past its prime. The hotel premises itself is beautiful although there was construction going on near the main pool which was quite an annoyance. Some of the views are towards built up areas and a port which is not what I pictured seeing the photos surrounded by nature. The food felt over priced for the quality and was quite a let down including the breakfast buffet which at this price point should've had better options. The only real saving grace was the staff who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Overall, while the facilities maybe 5 stars, the food and finer touches really did not meet my expectations.…
I understand why there are so many people who want to visit and stay at Sri Panwa. We were also one of them just to see what the hype is all about. Once we arrived there, we were really impressed with the service and how energetic all the staff look. Now for the room, we booked an Oceanview Penthouse which is very spacious in my opinion. It was spotless and still look like new. We had our own private pool in the penthouse which was well-cleaned as well. They provided all the amenities that you would need during your stay and the minibar is also free of charge (of course included in the room rate) but my thought was that the minibar was a little too basic and cheap. Bottles of water are all plastic but they arranged a recycle bin next to the fridge. We also ordered in-room dining as we think the sunset view was already good enough from our room. However, the food was a total disappointment. Wagyu burger was very dry and came in a small portion. Chicken wings were also cold and tough to chew. They were also pricey but we only care more about the quality and taste. I would say the meal was not worth it at all. Since the resort is very secluded, we expected their food would be better than this. Now for the sleeping part, the bed and pillows were very comfy – can’t argue with that. But my biggest problem was that I couldn’t sleep with some lights on, and the control panels in the room (also right next to the bedside) were all digital and they shone so brightly at night they kind of bothered my sleep. Breakfast was good enough but we wouldn't call it a 6-star or luxury hotel breakfast. The food and buffet setup looked a bit boring. I was so surprised that even butter and yogurt cups were served as in original branded packaging. Thumbs up for the variety and taste though. There were many delicious Thai dishes and great choices of fresh fruit juice. After breakfast, we went on a walk at their “private beach”. This was the part where we had the least enjoyment. The beach was filled with rocks, pebbles, and lots of trash. And if you walk towards the pier you will see more and more trash all over the place. I understand that these trashes may be washed up from the sea but the resort should clean more often as they are a luxury hotel and this is quite unacceptable. Overall, don’t get us wrong but we really had a great relaxing time in our Oceanview Penthouse (especially the private pool). We enjoyed every single moment in Sri Panwa except the beach walk and room service. Everyone was very kind, helpful and friendly. The only thing I can't get over it is the value of money if compare with other luxury hotels we had experience with. It’s a great one-time experience thing but we wouldn’t go back there any time soon.…
1. We have been to Sripanwa before at LV10. It was great until the owner of the hotel decided to post rude, harmful pro-communist comments. 2. The second time we visited was below the bar. The facilities in the room was not ready for example; the dirty in-room pool and the uncharged telephone. The staff themselves were service-minded but I already have a bias against the owner already. Too bad. 3. I am giving the hotel one star because of the owner himself, not the working hard staff members. Please behave yourself. Everyone can be the guest of your hotel. Don't be too discriminating. Rich or poor, everyone doesn't deserve to be spoken to like that. Thank you.
