My Beach Resort is celebrated for its exceptional amenities, such as the spacious rooms with stunning views and quality dining experiences, all underscored by superb service that guests find memorable. While the rooms are generally lauded for their cleanliness and vistas, some guests have noted occasional issues with odors and noise.
Despite the praise for the resort's service and its prime location near attractions, there's a consensus that the resort's pricing doesn't match the expected value. The atmosphere, described as cozy and inviting, is perfect for unwinding, especially with the added charm of live music.

Hotel's Favourite
Beautiful hotel with beautiful views of Chalong bay, especially during sunrise and sunset.
All the staff are so friendly and welcoming and they really made our honeymoon as special as it was.
The hotel itself is situated in a peaceful part of Phuket and is not far to get to the Phuket town or other places of interest. As well as the hotel restaurant serving the best Pad Thai as well as many other delicious Thai and foreign dishes, Cape Panwa hosts several cheaper restaurants that always serve incredible food, Lae Lay is a personal favourite.
There's also a variety of activities offered from kayaking and paddle boarding to beach yoga and massages.
We cannot recommend this hotel enough, just make sure you book a room with private pool access, it's a godsend when it's 35°

We stayed at the My Beach Resort for 10 nights, we booked the premium sea view our room was slightly restricted by a few almond and coconut trees still the views were stunning.
if you are a lover of frolicking in the sea bring beach shoes to wear while wading out because the first 10-15 metres out to sea is covered in small rocks making entry and exit a little uncomfortable. Although when it is high tide, the water is lovely. This is a feature of the Panwa area.
All the staff were very friendly and obliging most spoke some English. We loved the room which had everything we needed, including tea and coffee facilities. The balcony has a large bath tub which we filled with cold water and just chillaxed in the very warm sunshine.
There are clearly not enough sun beds to go round and some of the chairs are lined up pretty close to each other with the umbrellas in fairly fixed positions. If you don’t need shade then you can have a chair in a lot more space on the beach. Beach towels are provided.
There is a good choice of local and western food available, breakfast is generally ok, there was no gluten free bread, the fruit juices are diluted and one or two other things, however once we raised this with the manager, we were provided with fresh juice and the following day the variety at breakfast was significantly better.
The staff bend over backwards to make our stay a memorable one. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our fellow British travellers and stay here again.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
We were sold by some amazing photos of My Beach Resort on the hotel booking sites. While the property had a handful of negative reviews, they were mostly about other guests and staff not being friendly enough so we took our chances. We first stayed in a pool access room which was almost like having a private pool (only six rooms had direct access to it). Only downside was the room didn't get any direct sunlight and remained damp which probably contributed to us getting eaten alive by some unknown critters while we slept in the room. We spent one night in a premium sea view room which was fantastic with the bed facing the ocean. The rooms had an abundance of electrical outlets which allowed us to use all devices while being plugged in. All balcony areas had a nice set up for just chilling making the rooms a decent place to stay put all day. Breakfast spread was decent with mostly typical Western breakfast items. Despite all that the place has going for it, there are few things that keep this place from being a total five star standard accommodation. There weren't enough sunbeds for all the guests which has people putting "dibs" on the sunbeds from the crack of dawn throwing their beach towels on them. They are also laid out so you are almost shoulder to shoulder with the persons next to you. One of the pools only has space for just four sunbeds. While we were quick enough to get a spot on most days, I think I'd be upset not having a spot if I’m paying a few hundred bucks a night. The service was definitely not five star standards. While all staff were friendly, multiple calls were necessary to to get things done (asking for a bottle opener, fixing the hissing near the pool bubble jet. The resort definitely looks the best among all accommodation on Panwa Beach and it is a great spot as long as a typical five star service is not expected.

Dear thelonious22, Greetings from My Beach Resort! We are delighted to hear that you experienced stay at two different room categories. They do have their own pros. Happy you enjoyed the views from Premier Seaview with the bed facing the sea. Chef is pleased to know you were satisfied with the breakfast spread and found plenty western dishes available. We have added more sunbeds to the beach and do advise all guests that lounges are not to be reserved. Please accept our apologies for any delay in service your had experienced during the stay. We do strive to provide excellent service to our valued guests and hope guests will select us not just for the location. Thank you for sharing your experience, it certainly helps us get better. thelonious22, we sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back one day! The headline sums up our experience.
This is a five star hotel with friendly staff and breathtaking views over the Bay of Panwa with the Big Buddha sitting on top of the hill across the water.
We stayed for 14 nights from the 22/1 to the 5/2 and on arrival we were upgraded from our studio sea view room to a studio beach view room. If you have a chance to stay in one of these rooms please take it - the experience is unparalleled in our view (and we are extensive travellers). We chose to leave the studio patio doors open at night - turn off the air conditioning close the net curtains and fall asleep to the lapping of the waves. As the temperature never dropped below 25 degrees centigrade you could sleep very comfortably on top of the King size bed. We had the most incredible peaceful sleeps.
The food was of a very high quality - both the standard breakfast menu and the evening dishes that we paid for. There is a cheaper restaurant a few meters away on the beach and we sometimes ate there and although it was half the price and offered value for money it never matched the taste and quality of My Beach Hotel. And to be honest the quality of the food, setting, and service would cost four times as much in the UK so do avail yourself of the opportunity to dine regularly at the hotel if you visit.
All staff from the receptionists to the chambermaids, were incredibly helpful, respectful and hard working. We left tips for everyone because they all deserved reward. The management were also always available and very easy to access and help. It is simply a brilliant hotel.
We would highly recommend My Beach Resort.

I found two issues during my trip.
1) if your child love to swimming, this beach and their pool may not good for them. Because of dining table beside the pool, then your child only can swim but better don't splash the water..someone will scold you or blame your kids.
2) most of staff not smiling, maybe the benefit or salary not really good to them. Only the staff are responsible for the carpark and beachside, they are friendly and smiling to the tourist or customers.

The resort itself is of modern design architecturally - complete with some rooms having private pools. The setting is spectacular overlooking the beachfront but as there is no elevator be prepared to walk up and down a lot of stairs or take the golf cart around the development.
The rooms themselves are quiet and comfortable but there is only on bedside table in each suite which we found odd. Also the internet had continual intermittent band width issues on both the TV and Wifi.
We found the breakfast buffet to be sub-standard...cold pancakes and French toast, limited choice of American dishes, etc. The dining chairs surrounding the pool area are too low for the tables so one has to find cushions to add to improve on the heights!
The main pool area has limited chaises and the flooring surrounding the pool is extremely slippery when wet!
The staff were very friendly and courteous.
Definitely would not class this as a five star resort...

Dear Mary, Greetings from My Beach Resort! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. While we are happy to know that you found our staff to be friendly and courteous, the rooms to be comfortable and enjoyed the beach front setting and hotel design, we are also disappointed that there were issues with internet connection and breakfast spread was not up to your expectation. I have shared your feedback with our Chef and IT and action has been taken to fix wifi signal and increase frequency of checks on food temperature at the breakfast buffet. We are also looking at replacing the chairs at the pool area later on this year. We arrived at night and couldn’t wait to see the resort in the day time. The location is not ideal if u want to be in the centre of everything as you’ll need to pay for drivers to take u anywhere you want to go. We deliberately chose this resort for 5 days for that reason as we had 5 days in Patong. The beachside location was fantastic and offered so many water activities we even kayaked across to a small island one day. The room was ok but lacked the 5 star touch to make it super special. Breakfast could use improvement as there wasn’t a variety change for the 5 days however the girl on the egg station makes the best omelette. Staff need to ask when seating if u would like a coffee otherwise you’ll make it yourself. The pool chair situation is a little unusual, apparently people reserve chairs by putting their towels on them as soon as the wake up. They then don’t return to them for hours, being from Australia we found this really weird as we figure if you leave your chair for a long time then anyone can take it to use. The gym was very small and was in use every time I went use it, only a couple of cardio machines and small set of weights. Overall this was a lovely place to stay however with a few more touches this resort could easily be a real 5 star premises.

Five stars hotel can be very different depending on country and location, and I guess the rating is also very different depending on what you expect, however from our visit at My Beach Resort, we can say that this hotel have five very bright stars, the staff is always smiling greets you good morning good afternoons and good evening.
We have been visiting many countries in Europe, but Asia is very new for us, so we didn’t really know what to expect, instead we traveled like we always do, with open and friendly mind: “smile to the world and the world will smile back”. Every place we have been in Thailand, the people is so open and friendly, and the staff at this hotel is definitely no exception.
The service is top quality. If you wanna go on an excursion the hotel have magazines of different trips, and will arrange the trip for you on request.
The hotel do not have many parking places, but if you are in car and there are no spots free, you can just give the parking guard the keys and then he will park the car when a spot is free.
The food at the restaurant is ok, to be honest we expected better compared to the reviews it got, it’s not fantastic but it’s ok. If you wanna go out one evening we will recommend you to go to a restaurant called “the cove” it’s walking distance from the hotel. Tables all the way down to the beach and wonderful food!
Enjoy your stay, the gorgeous view, and the always smiling and wonderful service from the staff!
Bonus service:
One day we was visiting a restaurant nearby, and we forgot our daughters glasses, we called the restaurant to ask if they found them and they said they would look for them, and asked what hotel we stayed at so they could call back, when we got home from our trip that day, the receptionist said they had our daughters glasses! We was honestly stunned about the service!

Good value for a daycation at 390 THB/person, It is applicable to Food & Beverage including pool & beach facilities. A la carte breakfast with local curry of the day and the special of the day was Kanom Thuay, local dessert are recommended, especially; the most hygienic standard at the restaurant. Lastly, peacefully enjoy pool & beach facilities.

They have the best view, friendly staff, and great food! We had a very memorable experience from My Beach. I recently had a sprained ankle during our stay and it was nice of them to send us to our room using the golf cart. I think guests can request this at the reception. We celebrated my birthday at this resort and it was really nice of them to have a welcoming drink and panna cotta. We had a room with its pool and sea view. The room was spotless, very spacious and has a modern design. they have an open door detector that would turn off the air conditioner when it's open, it was nice because it shows that they do energy saving. We ordered room service for dinner at first, we were hesitant at first, expecting it will be too expensive and wouldn't be as good but we still ordered due to my condition. We had pizza, pasta, and cheesecake and it was all delicious, they have high quality, great food presentation, it was quick and it wasn't too expensive either! The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food and coffee. Overall, we had a great experience, highly recommended for people who wants to relax and have a quiet time with family.

You can visit both James Bond island and Phi Phi island, well worth a visit, lots of local restaurants nearby with cheap amazing food and beer, get a city tour hire a private taxi if you ca, go to the big Buddha and patong beach, along with old Phuket town. Lots to do, too much to do in two weeks.
Здравствуйте
Я был там в июле и не думаю, что поблизости есть банкомат.
Beach front rooms are located directly at the shore with unobstructed view at the sea. Best option if you like to hear the sound of the waves at night.
Sea view rooms are located at the higher levels of the hotel, but you might not see the beach itself, since there are some building roofs in front. However this is the best option for a stunning overall view at chalong bay. Cheers!
