Siesta is a cozy budget hotel, set in a hillside cluster of whitewashed properties. It's an 8-minute walk to Grand Anse Beach, and about 4 miles from the airport. Featuring balconies or patios, the unpretentious, air-conditioned rooms and apartments come with satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and minifridges, as well as safes. The 1- and 2-bedroom apartments have kitchens, and living rooms with pull-out sofas.

My stay was 3 nights. I chose Siesta because with a long flight to the UK and arranging my PCR test, I wanted somewhere close to these amenities. I was pleased with the room & its facilities (including air conditioning, kettle, toaster microwave, fridge). More importantly, credit goes to all the staff who helped me with my bag to the room, and every time they walked passed me checked to see if I was okay or encourged me to sit on the comfy chairs at reception

Hotel's Favourite
A block from the beach and stores, the hotel offers simple accommodations at a very reasonable price (compared with other lodging options in the area). The room we had could use some preventive maintenance (painting, couch cushion replacement). Also, when we entered the room we found the refrigerator unplugged (it took nearly a day to get to temperature). The pool is very nice, but shares the pool deck area with the onsite restaurant.

Although we were only staying for one night. We chose Siesta because with a long flight to the UK the next evening we needed to overnight somewhere on a Friday that hopefully would be peaceful & at a reasonable price. We were very pleased with the room that we had & its facilities (including air conditioning, kettle, toaster microwave, fridge). The hotel has a decent sized swimming pool and is only about 100m from the Grand Anse beach. Also close to Morne Rouge beach (BBQ beach). It is also only a 5-10 minute stroll from the Spice Island Mall where there is a very good supermarket as well as other shops. A good tranquil experience even if it was only for one night. The staff were all very helpful & friendly – we will definitely use the Siesta again in the future if we are in Grenada

We were met at reception like old friends with a lovely welcome. Without exception every member of staff we met throughout our stay was polite, helpful and friendly. And when I forgot my Christmas food shopping in the fridge they even arranged to put it on the boat to me! Can’t praise the service highly enough.

This is an older property, so don't expect the latest in decor. However, I found it quite comfortable in a retro sort of way. I stayed in room #30, which is a one bedroom suite. The bedroom and living room had views of Grande Anse. There was a balcony outside of the living room. The kitchenette was well equipped. The bed and furniture were comfortable. The wifi worked well, unlike some other hotels I stayed at in Grenada. The first morning I had eggs benedict, which were done very well. However, the orange juice and coffee were terrible. For the price, the orange juice should have been freshly squeezed. And the coffee could not compete with Bella Milano just down the street. The second morning, I ordered two eggs over easy with crispy bacon. The eggs were over-cooked and the bacon was under-cooked. The food service definitely needs to be improved. The swimming pool and dining area are very pleasant.

Thank you so much for your review. Your description is pretty accurate and quite fair. That's the kind of hotel we are: ideal location, close to Grand Anse Beach, clean and comfortable accommodation with reliable WiFi, and friendly service. We do take note of the issues in the restaurant, which are already being addressed. Looking forward to having you stay with us again.
