I stayed here before and after a Canoeing expedition in October 2015. comfy beds/dorms, nice hot showers, good community/TV room, good drying room, friendly staff. pleasant looking and i felt rather comfortable here. There wasnt many of us here, easy to park, some cabins have hottubs. Would look to stop here again for another scotland trip. Didn't have trouble finding...

We stopped here for the night before heading up the cairngorm mountain to go skiing. Price was fantastic for the two of us to stay and rooms had what we needed. The bar was welcoming and open late so we could enjoy a drink and had breakfast there in the morning which was delicious. Will definitely be back

Fantastic spot for active kids, a real adventure holiday where they will never be bored!!! Highly recommend this spot. They have a few playgrounds and lots of water sports to get involved with. Some of the chalets also have hot tubs which is great after skiing.

Came easter weekend for some snowboarding which fell through thanks to the wind. Luckily this hotel was in a great location and we made the most of the weekend by visiting Loch Ness, the wildlife reserve and Chanonry Point (unfortunately no dolphin). The room was located in the main hall and was spacious and warm with good amenities such as...

We stopped here for an overnight stay in November last year and it was disappointing. I have previously stayed in one of the cabins and that was great but the hall which is hostel type accommodation was poor. Over the last 13 years or so we have often stayed in hostels and all you expect is a good drying room,...

Stayed here with my fiancee and 4 friends in February for our skiing trip. Really loved loch insh hall, the staff were very friendly and the facilities were great value for money. Will definitely be returning. :)

Like the ski lodge very much, perfect for a nights stay before heading out to the cairngorms for a touch of snowboarding! Next time I'm heading up this direction, I will be staying here as it's great value for money, especially when you are just after a bed for the night.

Insh Hall is a nice place to stay and we are thinking of returning; however, I would make a couple of changes. On the main website it is labelled as a bunkhouse; however, I would say it is more than this. A bunkhouse (in my mind) is one below a hostel, with shared dorms, shared bathroom facilities, self-catering kitchen, and...

I traveled to Kincraig with the intent of exploring the land of my forefathers. However, when I got there, most of the B&Bs were booked. One of the innkeepers recommended Loch Insh Hall, and I'm glad he did. Everything about this place was perfect. The setting was breathtaking with a view over Loch Insh (CRAZY sunsets and sunrises); the restaurant...

Excellent location - it is right on the loch. Stayed in a room with 5 bunk beds in it. It is nice and comfortable for 5 people. Kept tidy. Do not expect much as this is essentially a hostel type accommodation. Free equipment for the water-sports was an added bonus! Only drawback was that it didnt have a kitchen. The...
