Beautiful beach resort in a very private location. The beach is very soft white sand and lots of beach to walk on. Private villas were very clean, quiet with verandas on the front of the villas. We took the package which included breakfast which had a very large choice of breakfast foods on their buffet with an omelet bar. Food was very good as we had lunch and dinner here as well. Massages were available on beach and privately in a villa. Friendly and helpful staff

This resort was recommended to us and it certainly didn't disappoint. The rooms are cosy, clean and equipped with all the basic things a traveller might need. The location of the pool, right next to the beach, provides a pleasant place to hang out, with food and drinks close by served from the Pool Bar and the restaurant that's a mere few steps away. The staff are friendly and helpful and always on hand to answer any questions or provide assistance of any kind. The location of the property, right next to the Mae Nam Pier was another added bonus for us. The food served in the restaurant was truly delicious and all at a reasonable cost. The breakfast provided with our room rate was very good, with several choices that I'm sure would satisfy most people. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I'm in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this very comfortable and relaxed hotel. It’s not far from the airport about a 30 minute drive and the hotel can arrange a taxi. It’s also next door to the ferry port if you fancy island hopping. Even though the ferry is conveniently next door you won’t know it as it’s hidden away. The bungalow we had was modern, large and airy with a good sized shower room. The food was very good and the chef is so helpful, I did a fruit and vegetable carving course and there’s also chance to do a Thai food cooking course. The staff are so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The pool is well kept a big enough to do some lengths in if you want a bit of exercise, there’s also a kids area. The beach is that of your dreams, white sand and warm water! Also treat yourself to a beach massage this was a highlight for me.

When arriving the service personal just stood around which left me my carrying my luggage by myself.

The check in was unpleasant not very welcoming. No towels or welcoming drink. Was a very hot and humid day.

While check in I was asked for a 1000 baht deposit PER NIGHT for the key.

Which is unreasonable to me. Later I would learn they use this same deposit for the whole hotel after the waiter ran after me telling me I cannot put the bill of 300 baht to the room. So is it for the hotel bill the deposit or the key??

Room itself is not very comfortable. Mattress as hard as a concrete block. No real bedsheets just some linen over the blanket. The AC is to small to cool the room. The showerhead in the shower looks nasty.

Sound isolation is not given I could hear my neighbor snore

Location is off the main road, down a dirt road with no lights. We paid 5k baht for a detached villa on the sea front. The room was very spacious, but the air con struggled to cool the room and the ceiling fan was quite noisy. So, I did not get a good night's sleep. Best thing was the polite helpful reception.

Take note:
All the sunbeds on the sea front are covered with towels before 8am, same Benidorm.

The hotel uses the taxi company opposite hotel and add 200 baht onto the fare for their troubles. Our taxi driver was useless, he could not find our Hotel in Lamai Beach and just kept going round in circles.

Nice and simple bungalows at affordable rates. Right by a long, secluded beach and adjacent to the pier. Boats/ferries to Koh Phangan and Koh Tao leave at 8am earliest. The resort itself is quite spacious and the pool has an amazing beach view with a myriad of palm trees. With regards to the bedroom, the pillows given were hard initially. You may like them but I struggled to sleep with them during the first few nights. Asked for soft ones and got them promptly. All the staff members are super friendly and helpful, especially Sao and Vic by the restaurant and pool area. Highly recommend this tranquil resort. Would definitely visit again in the future.

The resort is quite nice, although a little run down in some areas. But the staff are working hard on the grounds every day and the gardens are quite nice. The pool is beautiful and the beach is great. Lots of beach chairs and umbrellas. The restaurant onsite is also quite good and the included breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff were very friendly. We were booked into a standard bungalow at this resort which was very very basic and somewhat rustic. We had a few flying insects in our room at night from gaps in the window and door frames. No mosquito netting, but there was air con, an in room safe, hair dryer and toiletries. We were offered a free upgrade to a deluxe room but it was a toss up which room was better or worse. Our room backed onto the maintenance area and the upgrade room was along the road. We decided to stay in our standard room as it had a king sized bed and my husband is very tall. The other room had a queen. We had hoped to upgrade into a superior bungalow as they looked lovely, but the resort was full. Our recommendation would be to book a superior bungalow closer to the beach if possible. Had we known what the “standard” room really entailed we would have upgraded when we made the reservation. Overall though, it is a pleasant resort and we would go back. There are also some good restaurants within walking distance just down the road.

Liked · We stayed in a beach villa room having only booked a standard double bungalow and been upgraded, great start!
The pool is a great size, but the beach is amazing. Staff sweep the sand clean each morning and the sunrises were exceptional.
Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the resturant is very reasonably priced for a resort like this.

Disliked · Very little negatives!
As is common in Thailand there were some wildlife encounters, with tiny lizards in the main room and 2 large geckos who visited the bathroom each day when the sun had been on the back wall all day. Rather them than the 8-legged guests that they eat so no problem for us.
A bit out of the way location wise, but this was no issue for us as it was the first stop on our 3 week trip so we just wanted to relax and unwind.

The resort is very located in a quiet place, still restaurants, bars and supermarkets are close. The bungalows are nice, clean and have A/C. Food and drinks there were delicious, the breakfast buffet which was included as well as the food we had for dinner there. The staff is very friendly, especially at the reception they were very helpful with ordering taxis, reservations of trips and other useful information. I would also recommend the massage at the resort. Not only they have a large choice of massages, also the ladies there do a good job. All in all I enjoyed my stay there a lot and would totally recommend it to others.

Bungalow structures that look like those of Vietnam 1970 with bamboo beaded intent. Shower really poor, with a wall attachment half broken in the sense that if you attach the shower to the wall the water jet is straight at 90 degrees so impossible to wash except to wash all the rest of the bathroom. There are no shelves to place a travel beauty. The bedroom is otherwise no good, the bed is large and the sheets are clean but the mattress is a bit soft and a bit hard, with only one bedside table, one socket to charge the phone. However, there are two very comfortable umbrellas in the rain closet. Reception efficient and very good, delicious restaurant for dinner. Breakfast from 6 no more, the dishes already made were all cold because not in proper containers to be kept warm.
Beautiful beach but obviously in front of the port there are many boats docked that come and go. In short, great for one night and away spending little but not to stay more days. However a 3-star property that for the assigned room is worth 2.
I am sure my less than excellent experience will be by chance. I repeat that all the staff was great but would not return.

Hotel will definitely do a laundry service for around 40b/kg just confirm if thats just for washing or if it includes ironing( some places will trick you there. if you call the hotel ahead of time they should be able to arrange a pick up service for you for around 500b
