The Disneyland Hotel captivates visitors with its enchanting Disney-themed atmosphere and convenient location right next to the park, a highlight for many guests. While the comprehensive amenities and overall cleanliness receive commendations, some visitors experience noise disruptions and occasional lapses in housekeeping. Although the rooms enchant with their spacious and themed designs, reviews are mixed regarding their readiness and cleanliness.
Service quality also varies, with reports of both friendly staff and service-related challenges. Moreover, the hotel's value is a point of contention, as several guests feel the high costs do not align with the level of luxury and service provided.

This was my first time to the Disneyland Hotel and i often saw it as a “once in a lifetime” opportunity due to its high price range. I booked the hotel in advance and done two nights and three days with my partner and my two year old son. We booked the Superior Room with Terrace and paid around £1700 with the park tickets also included.
I drove to the hotel from the UK and when we arrived we were met by the staff outside who approached us, collected our cases and even parked our car. They were more than accommodating, professional and friendly and this was such a smooth introduction to the hotel without the stress and hassle of carrying your luggage around. We arrived at approximately 8am in the morning however was not able to check in until 3pm but the luxury of having our bags taken was very convenient as we were able to go into the park and enjoy our day whilst our luggage was being taken care of. We walked into the hotel we were amazed by how clean the hotel was and the general atmosphere within it. It was bustling with conversations and also the beauty of Christmas decorations and also the Christmas Tree itself. The staircase in the centre of the lobby was also an added touch.
The staff were accommodating, friendly and helpful and rarely needed much contact with them but when i did the service was as expected. The hotel itself was consistently clean and tidy and there were always cleaning staff around ensuring everything was so. People who aren’t guests are able to come into the hotel itself and you could see groups of people often inside taking photographs, which i would expect as the inside and outside of the hotel was amazing.
We used the swimming pool at the hotel one evening which was included in our stay. This was clean and well maintained with a jacuzzi as-well and also lifeguards who aren’t guests present. There was also armbands and floats easily accessible for free for the younger children to use if needed.
The room was immaculate with a nice warm welcome on the TV, which was built into the mirror. We were on the ground floor and our terrace had two small chairs and stable which was in a small garden which looked out onto the entrance to the park. The curtains and blinds are suitable to maintain privacy and can be pulled across. The room was spacious as-well with a minibar with bottled water and drinks in which were included.
The hotel is directly next to the park entrance which is very handful after a long tiring day and saving the long walk or shuttle back to the other disney hotels and you also have the “magic time” included with your booking whereby you can go into the park and hour before other normal paying customers who are non disney hotel guests. We found this an added perk when queuing to meet Mickey or even take photos of the park without loads of people around.
The downfall is the prices of the restaurants/food within the hotel. The buffet breakfast is fourth euros per person however i did not do this simply due to the price and i did not eat in any of the other restaurants.

Many improvements have been made since the reopening in February 2024 after a few years of renovation. We stayed 5 days, 4 nights in the Deluxe Room. Experiences we had in February 2024, such as hours of check-in/cold pool water/not refilling coffee and tea in room/very variable service, are now all in order. The Deluxe Room is exactly the same as the Superior Rooms, not bigger or anything, but different color scheme (red, where we actually think the blue of Superior feels more luxurious). Deluxe rooms do have some extra services such as breakfast included, Teatime included in the Deluxe Lounge. Teatime all days in order, 1 day the buffet was not to hardly refilled so many plates were empty. Times for Teamtime were shorter and more limited than we had read in advance when booking on the website.
Negatively we liked how the special parking entrance for Dinsneyland Hotel guests was handled. All 5 days we were there the special entrance gates were red because of malfunctions. See pictures. There were no cast members present at the gates so we had to join the other hugely long queues to get access to the park. 1 day we were treated rudely by 5 cast members. Nobody wanted to help and everyone directed us to the longer entrance lines. Incomprehensible, didn't feel right. Does not fit the service you expect if you have paid more than 4000 euros for a stay that also includes special services such as a special parking entrance for Dinseyland Hotel guests.
Cleaning very good in the room. In the hallways there was more dirt on the floor, just after opening we saw cleaners vacuuming all day, this is now much less. Beds sleep great and are the best beds we have ever experienced. View was beautiful, we looked out on Fantasia Gardens.
Pool we visited in the morning. A lot quieter than the evening.

Pros Location to park and easy access Cleanliness Room facilities and decor - as expected given it’s only been opened 5 months
Cons Delay of 30 mins for valet check in Delay of 20 mins waiting to check in No notification of room number later in the day (w eh arrived early) Had to go back to check in (and queue again) for room details Foyer spells of disinfectant Pool is absolutely freezing. And the lifeguards insist on keeping the numerous doors wide open - uncomfortable High bar prices even for standard drinks
Is it worth the price? No. You do not expect to have to wait on numerous occasions from dropping off car, to checking in to getting room allocation in a hotel of this standard

Terrible Experience, a complete disappointment, this was meant to be a special trip for some personal reasons, we booked this trip on the day the bookings opened bookings for the new Disneyland hotel, we treated ourselves to a Deluxe Room & due to our sons size we made it known we required 2 actual beds (this is what we booked not a request), we arrived at the hotel very early, checked in online previously to arriving & physically checked in immediately at 3pm, upon check in we were told that our room had been changed to a room with one bed & a put up bed, I explained that we needed 2 physical beds & was told this was not a option, we were told we could be downgraded to a superior room, so asked to speak to a manager, when the manager arrived he lacked empathy or understanding, he was very rude & told me sternly that I had not booked a room with 2 physical beds even though the receptionist had told us minutes before that we had, he fully blamed us, eventually after waiting around it was agreed that we could have the room we booked, I had requested the room to be close to the reception due to physical needs, yet we were at the furthest point away from all amenities.
We ordered & paid for the Christmas Box at the grand price of €295, this was a surprise for my husband & son, the surprise was ruined when it was not in the room. It had been a nightmare ordering it due to the lack of communication & wrong information from the staff via email & phone calls. When it arrived the contents were terrible for the price we had paid, one of the items was made out of cardboard, at the most it would of retailed at €150.
The room cleaning service was not adequate with pyjamas being moved & placed in dirty areas & dirty cups being left in the room & not replaced meaning we were forced to wash them up in the bathroom sink.
I unfortunately had a accident on the stairs during my stay, a member of staff witnessed this, there was no care at all, this was ignored at the time & after, I was then accused of lying about it even though it would have been on their CCTV.
Overall the experience is not what we had expected, it was tarnished from the check in, they deliberately over book rooms in order to profit more, I booked at the earliest opportunity, I arrived & checked in at the earliest opportunity too, yet we made to argue for the room we booked, the mark up on the Christmas box is ridiculous, they advertise themselves as a 5* hotel, we had better service from a 2* hotel on the side of the motorway.
Their complaints team do not deal with complaints, they just send Automated responses up until the hotel manager is contacted, unfortunately they need to go along way before their stays are worth what they charge, we have been staying at the Disney hotels regularly for 19 years yet all we have witnessed is them go downhill, they definitely lack magic.

We had the chance to stay in a superior room at the Disneyland Hotel on the weekend of March 2 and 3, 2024. We couldn't wait to discover the renovation of this hotel and, a week after the end of our stay, we are still amazed! To summarize, if you are looking for the high standards of a 5-star hotel, you will undoubtedly find what you are looking for elsewhere. But if you love the Disney universe and are looking for a UNIQUE and magical EXPERIENCE, go for it!!!
As soon as you enter the lobby, you will be completely transported by the magical atmosphere of the hotel: the decoration, the music, the smell, the kindness of the Royal Greeters... Everything is perfect! During our stay, the cast members of the hotel took great care and we warmly thank Tania at reception who did everything to give us the room of our dreams! Our Cinderella room was magnificent and the bedding was very comfortable.
The only downside for a 5-star hotel was that we had to ask for two additional bathrobes and pairs of slippers (we were 4 adults), as well as a bottle opener and our welcome bag. Small detail, one of the diamonds used as a handle for the tea/coffee box was also missing. The new hotel boutique is very pretty but we were extremely disappointed to see that DLH exclusive products were out of stock.
We had our dinner and breakfast at the Royal Banquet and had no complaints regarding the quality of the food or our multiple interactions with the characters. Everyone will find something to enjoy!
During this timeless weekend, we took full advantage of the hotel's activities and infrastructure and we left with incredible memories of our moments spent at the swimming pool, at the spa, of the royal troupe's shows, but also our meeting with the princesses. Ultimately, this experience exceeded our expectations and we look forward to our next stay at the Disneyland Hotel!

Super hotel, at first the price tag put me off but after staying here three times I can only say it is worth the money! From the moment you step in to the second you (reluctantly) have to leave, every member of the staff does their utmost best to make sure your needs are met - and then some, creating special moments where you didn't expect them. The rooms are spacious and have a luxury feel to them, everything is fresh and clean, look for the little Disney clues too! Beds are a dream to sleep in and the pillow menu you can use lets you customise your stay, though after some "testing" I love the pillows provided most. Don't hesitate to try! I love the portraits in the rooms too, there are several different princess drawings so you never know which "theme" you will get. You can request a specific theme in the app before arrival, but it's subject to availability and other requests you may have made like close to an elevator, quiet room etc take priority. (I don't get the quiet room, we had a room on the ground floor next to the entrance and heard absolutely no noise) The princesses are readily available even if you don't stay in Castle Club levels, just look out for the troup performing in the lobby several times a day, you can take a picture with the princess after her short performance and there is also a dedicated meet and greet location that you can book where a photographer takes your picture. Dinner in the hotel is either buffet or a la carte, it's not the cheapest price tag, but the characters really make up for it, they take all the time you want with them, it's really something I would recommend. The food was good in the buffet in the evening, the selection of dishes was different the three times we went, with some fixtures like their lobster pile! I had gratin dauphinois with potatoes in the shape of Mickey Mouse so the attention to detail this hotel has makes it to potato level! Also, if you ask for bread, the breads are warm! Breakfast was elaborate with freshly squeezed orange juice, a wide selection of warm and cold food, fresh fruits, yoghurts, jams etc. Basically something for everyones taste. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly both in the evening and morning. We booked half board for our meals and saved €60 on our meals, compared to paying them in the hotel so be sure to check out that option. All in all, I said the first time it would be a one off because of the price tag, but for the last visit I upgraded from another hotel because staying anywhere else didn't appeal to me. Of course I do wish they would lower the price a bit, but the service level we have experienced three times does justify it. Go there if you can, you won't regret it. They really do treat you like royalty, all of them, from cleaning staff to reception to characters to waiters. There is real magic to be found here!

Upon arrival we were able to drop off our car and luggage and step inside immediately. Everyone greeted us with a smile and they also take the time at reception to answer all your questions. This means that you sometimes have to wait a while for other visitors, but you want that for others too. Everything you receive, from the key cards to the forms in the hotel room: everything is in the magical and luxurious Disney style. Apparently we had missed some complimentries, but they were all handed out in the welcome booklets. At the hotel you can book a meeting with one of the princesses and outside the hotel you can be in the parks within 5 minutes. All the staff are there to make the stay pleasant and you notice that. The rooms have been renovated and you notice that, everything looks tip top and even with a view other than the park you can enjoy the fun and music that Disney has to offer. It is more expensive, but it is worth it in luxury, location and service. The food was really too expensive for our wallet, but because you are so close to the park there are always options nearby.

First stay at the disneyland hotel, We had initially decided to choose a deluxe room but at the last moment we chose to stay for 2 days 1 night at the Castle Club, superb hotel, personalized welcome and always someone who accompanies us if we are lost. Thank you it seems to me that Diego welcomed me and everything very well explained.Everything is magical in this hotel, we had the room as planned at 3pm, taste from 3:30pm to 5pm at the Castle club lounge very quiet and taste taken in the company of princesses. Taste complete sweet as savoury hot drinks and delicious fruit juices. We then enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and then the sauna. Everything is very clean and we are lent towels for the pool. Then discovered the room accompanied by an employee who explained everything. We were also upgraded with room with a large balcony. Superb room well equipped, very clean, magical setting especially in the evening with the bright ceiling and frames above the bed that light up.Large room, beautiful bathroom, slipper +++. Little touches in the mini bar of the room free and in the evening we are prepared the room for the night, preparing the bed, the curtains, and tea with a small treat. Beautiful and very clean room Breakfast also taken at the castle club, excellent full of good things and again with princesses. Evening meal at the Royal banquet, a bit noisy but buffet meal with lots of choices and very good products, Disney characters take the time to drop by each table to take pictures. The most elevator that leads directly to the park and allows us to avoid the big queue as well to get home. We had the suitcases on time in the room they were waiting for us as soon as the room is available. Also I was allowed a suitcase transfer from Newport Bay club where I had stayed the day before directly in the room of the disneyland hotel. Great service! Very clean and just splendid hotel, I do not understand all his negative remarks we had a just magical stay with nice little intentions and always smiling staff and care Brief hotel to do at least once in a lifetime and I think I can do without it!

Don't fall for the advertising, 5 stars are in no way justified. The partly good reviews cannot come from guests who have 5-star experience. There are big differences between "real" 5-star hotels and the Disneyland Hotel. We are a family and have been permanent guests at Parc Disney for years. After staying at the Marvel Hotel New York, for example, we were attracted by the prospect of a 5-star stay at the Hotel Disneyland shortly after it opens in February 2024. Fact check: Price per day €1000. Full board for 3 guests an additional €500 (excluding drinks). Excessive entry check of car and luggage, not discreet as is usual in 5-star hotels - so a very un-magical start. Train station hall atmosphere on arrival, as around a hundred people were waiting for access to the booked room in the few armchairs and sofas, many on the floor. Pre-check-in is of no use, you have to check in again completely. Nothing was offered, not even water. Rooms were only ready for occupancy between 5 and 6 p.m. You then have to look for the room(!) on your own (approx. 500 meters); the room is not explained, for example we only noticed on the second day that the air conditioning was completely turned off. Large room, very loud at times (construction noise, hammering). Absolutely mini bathroom (2 stars). Shower (hand shower hanging loosely), sink, smelly toilet. Strong chemical "new" smell. Almost all of the building materials used are cheap hardware store goods. No 5-star feeling. Room service is fast, the prices are extreme, see scan of the room service menu. The half-full €52 bottle of wine is simply taken out of the room in the morning and remains missing. There is no turn-down service, the cleaning service always comes when you have just returned tired from the park. Glasses and cups were not washed, tea bags, espresso capsules etc. were not refilled, and the minibar was not either. Service: Very friendly staff; trained to avoid conflict and to stall. If there is criticism, the next level is addressed (usually reception), but they only offer excuses. Things just don't run smoothly and, above all, nothing is "magical" or elegant. The restaurant, lounge and bar areas are extremely overcrowded all day long. You may only get a 5-star feeling if you book Signature Suites or Castle Club. Positive: proximity to the park, friendliness of the staff

Stayed three nights Castle Club Park View 25-28 January 2024. We were there when they opened the doors for the first time and it was amazing! The cast members clapped the first visitors in and each group were personally greeted and guided to where they needed to go. As we were staying Castle Club our cases were taken and we were given a guided tour of the main areas of the hotel before being taken to CC reception to check in. Pre renovation CC guests received a lanyard and VIP fast pass at check in, now nothing (I do know that there are no fast passes any more). We were worried that our room would be too princessy for our 3 adult taste, but it was not, it was lovely. Our major disappointment was the commemorative key was only offered to certain guests. As we were staying 3 nights park view we thought it was worth asking. We were told they were only offered on opening night and only to suite guests, but then added that any left were being offered to VIP guests and journalists! As our stay possibly cost nearly double what a single night in a suite would have, that seemed a little unfair. Our numerous visits to DLP and stays in both the DLH and CC did not add up to 100 so we were not VIPs and obviously not journalists. Regular guests who post photos and reviews year in year out are not worthy of consideration. The hotel itself is wow! We did expect a few teething issues, after all we were the first guests in four years and there were a few, but nothing to spoil our stay. The breakfast and afternoon snacks in CC were exceptional and the CM’s in the lounge are wonderful. They constantly check that you have everything you need or want. Can’t fault it. Housekeeping, however, is not so good. A glass used in our room on Friday evening was still where we left it on Sunday morning. There was no turndown on the second night, we collect the cards left on the bed so missed one and definitely missed the nougat! They did offer to send someone but at 10pm we wanted to get in to bed not wait! There was turndown on the 3rd night but the still forgot our nougat! We did tell reception and were told they would see what they could do, they did nothing. This may seem petty but this now a 5* hotel which you pay a premium to stay at and the little details matter. We ate at Royal Banquet where we met just 4 characters. There didn’t seem as much selection as when it was Inventions but the quality of food on offer was really good. Is it worth 100€ per person? Not in our opinion. Overall we loved our stay here and have another stay booked for March. In these early days it seems that the main concern is the appearance of the hotel, there are CMs with portable vacuums all over the place, and impressing the many groups of suited management rather than the paying guests.

Deluxe rooms are in the west wing. I believe a few have the small balcony but the views are of the side gardens overlooking the pool and spa area. No deluxe rooms overlook the park so I wouldn’t pay extra for a balcony if that’s what you are hoping. Hope this helps
