the duman hotel is smelly,dirty,falling apart...the staff were intimadating,and unhelpful..no-one should go to this place ever...we came home a week early at our own expence and have been put off ever going back to turkey..because of our experince..

we stayed at the duman in june..we didnt know what to expect having read all reviews...in all eventuality..the duman was really good.we had no problems with the staff..who were very friendly towards us..the breakfasts were typically turkish..but i enjoyed them anyway..the hotel itself was very clean..towels were changed..room was cleaned...come on...its a 3 star hotel and thats what you got..if...

The Duman Hotel was dated,dirty, unhospitable and miserable. There is more thought for the guests at Bates Motel (Pchyco). Duman mean smoke in Turkish I think its called that because you are welcomed by a cloud of smoke as you enter the reception area. It is the Turkish equivolent of Fawlty Towers.
