Trennery's is old and showing her age but here is the dilemma. The establishment evokes so many fond memories of family holidays of yesteryear that it seems churlish to criticise. We had booked in with a single booking for four couples yet were allocated four rooms which were totally separated and at either ends of the sprawling complex. On registering...

Dear Viv and Chris Thank you for your review, we are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us at Trennerys hotel and we appreciate your feedback and comments. To explain a few things - I believe the receptionist meant Nightsbridge and not booking.com - nightsbridge is the booking engin we use so the allocation would be with them. We...

Fantastic Staff! We were on a Wild Coast exploring long weekend and stumbled upon Trennery's on our way to Coffee Bay. We were surprise to find 10 camping sites. Better than SANPARKS! We came over the ferry from Kei Mouth - some dirt road no 4x4 needed then turn right on tar road and vulla there it is the gem...

Fairly basic accommodation but perfect for our needs, although both rooms had a damp smell about them. The pool area is lovely (pool furniture could do with an upgrade though). Lovely beach and grounds. The food was excellent. We loved our sunset cruise and walk to The Gates. Our only complaint was that the tap water is not drinkable and...

This is a lovely hotel run by friendly helpful staff. Set just a short walk from the beach (no beach views) with good, clean basic rooms. Dinner was buffet style either served inside or out depending on the weather and was plentiful and tasty. Nice swimming pool with sunbeds- though the water was freezing! Nice bar area- they even found...

Thank you so much for this great review, we are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us at Trennerys and that you made use of all our hotel amenities and enjoyed your time with us. We were camping, 10 lovely sites a few with shade, but all are sheltered. The ablutions neat, clean and adequate. The garden beautiful and the grass beautifully manicured. You can hear the sea, but look onto bush, a short walk on a well kept path through this bush and you on a lovely beach and a lagoon nearby. The hotel...

Relaxed, comfortable, welcome and well fed is how we always feel when we visit this establishment. From the time you arrive and are greeted to the time you are waved off on departure, it feels safe and homely with lots of smiles and shared anecdotes. I did miss the ringing of the dinner bell which I believe they have stopped...

We spent our honeymoon here 44yrs ago and revisited again for the first time. We were not disappointed. It is a delightful unspoilt place where you can rest and relax or be very energetic, hiking and swimming. The Coast line is stunning. What ever type of break you want Trennery's will come up trumps.

Excellent small camping site very close (200m) to the beach. The camp site is fully covered with grass and has a couple of trees to provide shade. The ablution facilities are neat and tidy. The hotel amenities (pool, bar, swimming pool etc. are available to campers. Overall very good value for money.

Trennerys hotel had a 40 seater tour group in house when we stayed there. We felt a bit lost but could benefit from a great seafood extrafagensa. Never had such lovely wild oysters. Our room was basic and you need to walk a few minutes to the beach.
