Perhaps I was unlucky in that my room was right on the street just opposite the local butcher shop. There was suffcient traffic to not wish to open the windows to let out the heat. The room was the most expensive of our holiday and also the smallest. The food in the restaurant is overpriced and very strange. There was... More

We really liked the peaceful verdant garden to the lovely view of the foothills, the enjoyable pool, we loved the dinner menu - the pigeon was especially good and the strawberry soufflé the next thing to heaven.

Though Barcus is out-of-the-way, it is definitely worth a visit if you are not too far... the dinner was original and delicious and the wine offerrings were nice to discover (I chose "by the glass" to taste several). The room is big and spacious and the pool perfectly delicious to relax and exercise.

Chilo is first of all a great great restaurant! Fresh and local products cooked to perfection! The breakfast is amazing! The Basque style squid is a signature... All dishes webhad were a wow effect! The fun of it before booking we almost ignored how much the place is a local institution... Chilo is the "place" for locals what means a... More

The hotel is an old farm, set out by the side of the road in a long building which runs from hotel to restaurant, with bedrooms upstairs on the two higher floors. It is a family-run hotel, with three generations apparent. There are pleasant grounds, with a swimming pool, flower-beds and a meadow, looking from the terrace tables across a... More

We stayed here one night during a cross-Pyrenees bicyle trip. The rooms are charming, the staff (mostly famil) are wonderfully friendly and the dinner was marvelous and inexpensive. The best breakfast we had in the Pyrenees. They also did our cycling laundry (on gentle!) for only 2 Euros!

We stayed at Chez Chilo last year for two nights and have nothing but praise for it. Our room was a newly refurbished one right above the bar so it got a bit noisy on Sunday afternoon with all the locals in for their lunch but that was the only slight cavil. The food is the hotel is sensational and... More
