Had not visited the Dordogne for many years but decided to try some Autumn walking - October. Booked in for 4 nights but stayed for 6. Literally dozens of walks from 1 hour to 4 hours all starting within no more than 20 minutes from the hotel. 20 walk guide available from local Tourist Information priced circa 16E but worth...

We were staying in a lovely gite close to Tamnies and wished to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family. This is a lovely hotel and the restaurant is a pleasant welcoming place (there are also tables outside if desired). It oozes high class and staff come across as happy and helpful. The food was very high quality, beautifully presented and...

Staying here for 4 days with a groups of friends in old cars. The owner is delightful, the hotel and scenery spectacular. Just back from a gorgeous dinner. It's worth travelling from Yorkshire for this experience. This is our second visit - we will be back!!!!

We stayed at Laborderie for 2 nights as part of a Headwater holiday. Before we arrived we'd been disappointed to hear that our room had been downgraded but on arrival found our downgraded room to be lovely! It was a good size with a large bathroom, which included a whirlpool bath, separate shower cubicle and twin sinks! There was a...

Having returned to this hotel for the umpteenth time, it just, at least, keeps up it's standards, if not surpassing them. Having stayed yet again in the annexe in room 53, our favourite, enjoying the usually quiet end of the hotel, that is not to say that the hotel is usually rowdy, quite the opposite. Fantastic views over a couple...

The hotel is beautifully situated not far from the Dordogne tourist sites. Pretty gardens, pool and ample parking for main hotel and annex. Wifi free was speedy. Our quiet room was on the ground floor with terrace in the annex where the lovely breakfast room is located. Outdoor furniture and the bedroom was spacious, modern and cool but the bathroom...

The hotel Laborderie is in a wonderful position - in beautiful countryside - and with a super restaurant. We had a room in the pool area on the ground floor with a private terrace. The pool was large and I swam every day which was great. The evening meal, we had half board, was delicious every night - and the...

Although this hotel is rated a 3 star, the highest category awarded by Logis de France, I would award it 4-stars. Apart from the beautiful location, and wonderful pool area, the food was gourmet all the way. I never expected to experience a five course dinner for 25 euros - my fillets of sturgeon and my wife's fillet of beef...
