Me my brother and sisters, with spouses, stayed here for a weeks holiday in june 2016. We drove up from burgerac airport where we hired a minibus, flights with flybee from Birmingham. As we arrived down a side track we tooted our horn and the automatic gates opened. I didn't think the van would fit in but we had just...

Stayed one night in this beautiful Chateau situated not too far from Perigueux. The hosts Jose and Diana were extremely gracious. That specific night we were the only guests so it was very quiet. The grounds are beautiful. We stayed in the room "Camille" which was quite big with high ceilings. I wish we had stayed longer. I would definitively...

My family of ten [five children, ages three to 14, and five adults; three generations] stayed at the Chateau de Siorac for a week in late June 2014. The property and the owners, Diana and Jose Serrano, were perfect-plus! The house [large and elegant], property [45 acres for hiking and runs], stables [horses, goats, ducks], pool, large front lawn [ideal...

OK first of all we stayed at this chateau based on the reviews I read on this site. The positive reviews proved accurate. It was the perfect choice for our honeymoon. My partner works in the Luxury Hotel industry and even she was extremely impressed. Not perfect in every regard, but damn good, totally authentic and enjoyable. The owners are...

This trip with 10 other friends was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. Being in Perigord making Chateau Siorac our home base was most comfortable, scenic, and as perfect as a European vacation could be. We had two meals by the owners, both wonderful, our group cooked for ourselves the remaining 7 evenings and felt as if we...

The Chateau de Siorac was the perfect vacation home! Each living area was exactly what you would expect from a home built in the 1500's: enormous and lovely. Diana and Jose, the owners, are delightful and attentive to guests' every need. I recommend the Chateau to all!

Thirteen good friends descended on the Chateau de Siorac and used it as a base point to see the Perigord Region of France. From the moment we came through the front gates, we knew that this was going to a super week. Diana and Jose greeted us as their guests, gave us a tour, and provided us with the history...

The Chateau was beautiful and well appointed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The beds were firm. The kitchen well-equipped. The owners were wonderful to work with. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Had an outstanding stay at the Chateau and the owners were gracious, fun and entertaining. The dinner prepared for us on our last night at the chateau was superb and remains a highlight of the trip. The chateau is a great blend of historic ambiance and modern conveniences where needed. The rooms were clean, HUGE, and very comfortable.

I was one of the eleven people previously mentioned, some of whom have already written reviews. I totally agree with all of their comments and would like to add some f my own. First of all, Jose and Diana could not have been more accommodating or more pleasant hosts. The Chateau is a marvellous mixture of old and new, absolutely...
