I cannot stress enough how fantastic how everything was during our one-night stay at Serenity Retreat. I have never experienced such caring hosts at a guest house in my travels ever before, and I am a frequent traveler. I briefly want to share my experience. We toured South Africa and slept over in a different place every night for more...

I liked this setting. There was no issues. The owners was on the premise and very friendly. There is no internet on the premises but internet is available at some restuarants. The bed is super comfortable.

I'm Sorry to say, but it was not worth the money. You Can stay much better in the area for the same amount of money, and that even includes good breskfast. The kitchen did smell. The bed was No good. The lokation No good. The owner of the place was friendly.

The place was beautiful, exactly what we needed especially as a Joburger! We just needed time away from the noise, the traffic and life's drama and Serenity Retreat gave us exactly that. The rooms were specious enough with everything we needed. The owners are really friendly and open people. We felt safe and would definitely go back.

The place was definitely NOT WHAT I HAVE EXPECTED it to be. The gentleman that showed us around was very decent and obliging but the accommodation was a total let-down. We already paid half of the costs as a deposit, but left before we even took our bags out of our he cars. And nobody bothered to get in touch...

Very nice host with fantastic stories and tips! The location was perfect, sometimes a bit loud, because of the workers going early to work. We loved the small and very practical and clean rondawel with some nice littel details!

We really enjoyed our stay at the serenity retreat. The two little houses are really nice and extravagant. The rooms have a good size, except the toilet which was very tight. The shower is located in the room which we didn't mind. Our host was very nice and welcoming.

Very good place. Is not super close to the village but there is not much to do there. They have a share kitchen you can use and a small TV room. As is close to the forest, there are plenty of mosquitos, so ve aware and close the windows!

We had a lovely time at Serenity Retreat during our two night stay here while on a road trip along the Garden Route. It had everything we needed - clean kitchen, comfy bed in our own private cozy hut, free parking and a friendly, adorable husky pup. This is in a perfect location as well if you plan on doing...

We were a group of hikers on the way to the otter trail - the retreat made a perfect stopover for us the night before the trail started. It was clean and comfortable and the owners helpful. We booked the entire house and cooked our own meals in the kitchen as well.
