It’s hard to review a property from a positive perspective when you’ve spent most of the time stuck in your room due to monsoonal weather. Of course the resort can’t help this but it does make you view your surrounds differently. Firstly the staff are great, particularly Fah & Ko Ko at reception, housekeeping and the restaurant were attentive too. I stayed in a beachfront bungalow. It was a fantastic size and nicely laid out (albeit needs a freshen up) with huge windows facing the water. The little porch would be lovely in the right conditions but there was no protection from the wind and rain and due to its exposure wasn’t used. The open toilet so close to the restaurant was a little off putting. The restaurant is large, again facing the water and I ate here at least once a day because of the convenience due to weather. The menu was extensive and the food was reasonable, prices need to be updated on their website tho. The location is OK but I didn’t have transport so felt a little isolated although there are restaurants and bars close by. I was told there was live music certain nights of the week and I was there for two of those and if you want a restful night, you won’t get it as you are next to the restaurant and the music is loud! That said, Koh Samui is quiet, really quiet which I thought would be appealing but in all honesty after 3 visits, I’m not sure I would return. It’s expensive to fly in and out and once there, expensive to stay, eat and get around!…
This is a resort of around 15 bungalows set around the pool. The bungalows are lovely and kept spotlessly clean and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The resort is set on the beach in Bangrak and has a lovely restaurant and live music 3 times a week. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and you are close to the pier for catching a ferry to the other islands. We will definitely be back
We enjoyed a lovely Friday nite at this lovely spot. Service was initially a bit slow but got better as the nite progressed. A lovely breeze was present the entire evening & we actually went to hear performer Oliver as well as check out the location. Very impressed by his selection, especially The Joker, Living Thing & Down Under. We'll definitely return to hear him again, great voice & skills. We also had a few drinks which were reasonably priced in addition to the Oriental Platter which was quite tasty. Glad we made it.
Really a great find in Bangrak - we keep going back! Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly environment, nice music and delicious food. We have only visited their restaurant & beach club - that said, the adjacent accommodation seems to be very nice.
