So in general this hotel is comfortable and suitable for couples and friends IF you book the sea facing rooms. The other rooms in both this and its sister hotel are small box rooms with no windows. We started off with the ground floor sea rooms with the jacuzzi - a really nice clean and spacious room leading directly out...

We've booked the Eco twin room as we're just staying a night before heading to Koh Phangan island. Location is perfect, it's situated right on the fisherman village, and it's a walking street on the night we were there on Friday, lots of shops and food. The road is close for vehicles entry from 1900-2300 so it might be a...

I stayed there on a Friday night before going to Koh Phangan. There was a market on so very busy and slightly noisy outside. Really friendly staff, I left my passport in my room and discovered this is Koh Phangan. They immediately found it and then sent it to the postoffice on my island for me to pick up and...

I'll start off with the only negative about this hotel: if you're a beach person then the Bophut stretch of beach that the hotel is at is not the best place for you: it's a narrow beach with coarse sand, not much shade and the water is cloudy. However, the seaside facing rooms of the hotel are great (6 of...

Koh Samui (like Bali) can be anything you want it to be. 5 star to back packer dormitory. The trick is to find that bit that suits you. Our hotel was comfortable, clean and its location was fine, being away from party goers without breaking the bank. The beach front street has plenty of good restaurants and shops. “Julie” on...

Well situated hotel in Fisherman Village. Bars and restaurants just a minutes walk away. Lovely top floor room with balcony and a view over the sea, facing Koh Phangan. Away from the street so quiet Large comfortable bed. Air-conditioned with ceiling fan so kept cool. Not enough hanging space though. Bathroom is ensuite, but open plan so you can be...

Stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed it! We booked the eco twin room online as we were on a tight budget. I knew the room was going to be small but I wasn't really prepared for how tiny it actually was. Especially after we saw the Hacienda suite village view room....it was great! The staff member offered to...

L'Hacienda has a good location in Fisherman village as it is within 3 minutes walking from all the bars and restaurants, but still nice and quiet at night. The rooms are well appointed and clean and the staff is lovely and very helpful. I had a village view room, which was fine, but next time I will definitely book a...

Well located in fisherman village we're you've got lots of dining choices (thus not crowded or noisy), the hacienda is a great value for money pick. The team is very friendly and helpful as they helped to arrange our activities on the island. Don't miss a drink on the top floor pool by sunset!!!

From the moment we checked in till the moment we checked out everything was PERFECT. The attentions paid to details for example, the lemongrass scent in the room, the rose petals in the private pool, etc... made our stay more relaxing and pleasant. In Fisherman's village the restaurants are more likely expensive, so rent a motorbike for 250 Bath a...
