Stayed here for 4 nights. Absolutely lovely resort. Great for kids too. However the food is very substandard and overpriced. I understand its a high end resort but they definitely need to either improve the food or reduce the prices. For example, the sirloin steak I ordered was ฿850, that's fine, however they don't tell you that is Thai steak which is extremely cheap, especially when Thai restaurants sell it with side and sauce for ฿99. It was extremely tough and chewy. I eat in Bangkok and pay ฿4000 at a steakhouse so I'm not cheap by any means and I absolutely know good steak. Additionally the lasagne and bolognese was flavourless. Shame really. However don't let the food deter you from staying here, its a lovely place to stay, but there are better food options nearby.
This is not only a fabulously located hotel, it is staffed by the most courteous, efficient, kind and friendly people throughout. From the moment of making our enquiries before booking to the moment we were dropped off at Koh Samui airport to go home, the staff were amazing. We have returned from 3 weeks stay in one of the deluxe plunge pool rooms, less than a minute walk from a beautiful beach of an amazing bay of this tropical island. Had the best of privacy of our room, terrace and own plunge pool and the use of the hotel swimming pool, grounds and amenities. Breakfasts are a mix of Thai and full breakfast choices, freshly prepared cooked eggs of your choice, fresh fruit and salad. We were provided with a complimentary dinner on any evening that we wished during our stay which was fabulous and booked a BBQ dinners. Both dinners were prepared and served to us and delicious. The Reception staff always smiled and greeted us, and were so helpful from the moment we arrived at the hotel until we were taken back to Koh Samui airport. We booked the hire of a moped through the Reception staff, and organised a taxi whenever we asked for one, which were mostly provided by the hotel itself. It was amazing exploring the island on our moped and we plan to do many more rides when we return to Koh Samui. Our room was cleaned daily ,,, ok one day out of 20 was missed but there was no problem providing me with fresh towels etc when I asked for them. Our bedding was changed regularly, every two to three days and the lady who had responsibility for our room was very friendly, polite and helpful as she worked. The location of the hotel is perfect and within a short walk of mini supermarkets, petrol station and walking to the right leaving the hotel driveway a lovely fresh fruit and veg shop, and a cafe selling either eat in or takeaway freshly cooked bbq foods - street food. Fisherman Village is about 5/10 minute walk (depending on the heat and humidity of the day/evening) along either the sandy beach or main road. There are lots of restaurants and bars in Fisherman Village and in nearby resorts. I will review those individually but briefly we highly recommend the Happy Elephant, Nirvana and Mailei’s Cocktail bar in Fisherman Village. There are many other bars. We found two other lovely restaurants within 5 mins drive, Treehouse Silent Beach in Maenam and Secret Garden Bar (with singers on Thursday and Sunday evenings) in Bangrak. Thank you to Peace Resort from Room 303 for making our stay so comfortable and delightful.…
This hotel was impressive since the moment we arrived. The reception staff are so friendly and the layout of the hotel and grounds are modern and impressive. The place is kept immaculate and the rooms are perfect because each one is detached, which makes it so peaceful. The little touches like an oil burner being lit in your room when you return to it each day and the high quality body lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispensers make this hotel stand out above any others I have visited before. Another fantastic quality is that they don't charge you over the odds for everything. We had room service when we arrived because we were tired and ate in the hotel one evening and a few lunchtimes - it was fabulous and competitively priced. We did also wait for the bar quite alot but it wasn't a problem and the staff were always trying their best and smiling. There are kayaks and paddle boards for the guests to just sign out, towels to use and plenty of sunbeds. The Thai massage I had was a lovely experience too, thank you 🙏 You can walk along the beach from here and cut up onto a cobbled street along to Fisherman's village in about 10 minutes (far more pleasant than the road). I absolutely loved staying at this hotel - we all did - it was my favourite hotel yet 🤍…
We stayed here for 10 days as a group of 20+ for my daughter's wedding. We were all very happy with all aspects of our stay - from the lovely clean bungalows, to the gardens, games room, pool, breakfasts, beachfront location. Everything really was perfect. I think best of all was the service from every single member of staff - all so happy, welcoming and polite. They really all do a fantastic job and made everybody's stay at Peace truly memorable.
We were booked to stay at the Peace Resort following a few nights staying in Bangkok. Firstly, even the arrival blew us away with how modern and tidy this hotel is. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by reception staff and went through the check in process which was seamless, before being carted off to our bungalow via buggy and given a guide of our bungalow. The room itself is extremely clean, has most amenities you require and very spacious. I was definitely a big fan of the excellent air conditioning within the room which kept us cool at night. The swimming pool is probably the cleanest and safest pool I've ever used. Not one single pool tile missing and extremely clean poolside area! Plenty of towels available from the towel hut just next to the pool area. The beach area is tidy and guests can access the paddle boards and kayaks free of charge at your own leisure! The breakfast was excellent too, however there can be awkward waits at both the coffee machines (which take forever) and toast machines. Likewise, the egg station is a popular choice so expect to wait a few minutes to have eggs cooked to your liking! As standard, there is a usual choice of breads, pastries, fruits, yogurts, cereals, juices, sausages, bacon and a few Thai dishes. The only aspect not making this not 5/5 is the bar service. On many an occasion, I and my wife were left waiting for a while to merely order drinks. When drinks were ordered, they took a while to arrive if you didn't wait at the bar to receive them. Same applies when ordering food - the service was relatively slow and I felt this opinion was shared by other guests we spoke to. Away from the bar, reception and concierge staff were excellent. We had an issue with one of the excursions we booked personally of which they made efforts to try and sort out on our behalf. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay and we certainly enjoyed our honeymoon here. I appreciate every hotel has had our challenges with COVID, however if the bar service was a bit quicker this would be an excellent place to stay!…
