Peace Resort garners praise for its inviting atmosphere and clean, spacious rooms, with a prime location near the beach and Fisherman's Village frequently highlighted by guests. Despite occasional comments about smaller secondary bedrooms and slow service at certain outlets, the majority of guests commend the friendly staff and well-maintained amenities. When we arrived we were given cold drinks. Check in very fast and good reception. We were taken to our garden villa. The bedroom extremely large with a large bathroom, with toilet and shower room and whole villa extremely clean. Swimming pool large and great with plenty of sun beds. Beach very clean and plenty of sun beds. Garden surrounds very well maintained. Breakfast area over looks beach, has one of the best breakfasts verities we have ever had in our six times to Koh Samui. Five minutes easy walk to fishermans wharf. This would be one of the best resorts close by to fishermens wharf. We looked at some of the other resorts in the area when we were there, but we were glad we picked peace resort. We had a great stay and the staff were fantastic. The resort was not full at the time. We would like to thank all the wonder full staff making our stay perfect. This is a must resort to stay at. WI FI EXCELLANT. Regards Frank and Sue Palmer.

Just returned from samui it was the second time we have stayed at the peace resort and we were well impressed with the changes .new reception area and all the rooms have been upgraded to a really high standard .only downfall with the rooms was lack of draw space which could easily be resolved.and we could have done with a small bedside table on the other side of the bed . Great walk in shower and the air on was quiet and efficient. Another small gripe was when we arrived we were told we would receive 15% discount on all food and drink this didn't apply to happy hour and we only found this out when checking out . Drinks and food especially breakfast were off a good standard with plenty of choice for everyone.im really missing having breakfast looking out to sea. All the staff except the bar staff don't know why though were extremely friendly and helpful even down to the gardeners one of whom showed me a snake he found in the bushes by the pool don't worry it wasn't poisonous. The grounds of the hotel make you feel like your in the jungle loads of birds the odd lizard or two and a monkey which we didnt see. This hotel is in a great location right next to a great beach and within an easy walk to fishermans village and loads of restaurants. We'd certainly choose to stay here again and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. Wishing you all good health and hope you survive these very trying times thanks again for a great stay

We've just returned from the Peace Resort and what a wonderful experience it was, especially for a first visit to Thailand.
The timing of our visit could have been better and although worrying about our flight home, we were reassured by Sandra, the assistant manager who gave us her personal business card telling us that should we encounter any problems, what ever the time, call her and she’d do what ever she could to help us.
Location, the Peace Resort is in a great location being only a short ride to the airport, it fronts onto Bo Phut beach and is only a short 10-15 minute walk by either road or beach to the bustling Fisherman’s village which offers excellent class restaurants, bars and street food.
Style, it oozes style in a fantastic Thai zen setting in wonderful grounds. If it’s marble, chrome etc that you want then this is not for you.
Accommodation, this is mainly in several different types of detached villa, a lot offering a private pool. Our villa was superb, well appointed, there was even a steam room in the massive bathroom but the piece de resistance was when the curtains were pulled back to show us our very own infinity pool overlooking the beach.
Restaurant/Bar, the Thai food we ate was delicious, also there were several themed nights to sample Thai cuisine. I’m no early riser but breakfast was super, fresh and varied and great service with a smile.
Staff, for us this makes the Peace Resort the five star experience it really is. There are too many staff to mention individually but from Reception, Restaurant and Bar, Gardeners, Room Service, they were all superb.
So a big than you to the Peace Resort and especially Sandra.
Steve and Carol and friends.

We stayed at this resort for 2 weeks. The bungalows are beautiful and the resort itself is peaceful , that's the nice part. During our stay the hotel had 5 private functions booked which meant pool and beach area closed to hotel residents , my husband requested a drink one afternoon at 4pm and was advised by pool staff , sorry bar closed! It's probably about the only time the pool area gets cleaned up , there's frequently rubbish , plastic bottle tops etc lying around, nobody bothers. We realise the hotel wants to make money but it hasn't got enough additional space to hold private functions without causing disruption to paying guests who are there to have a relaxing time also.
Breakfast is buffet style - wide selection on offer but 1 cook at egg station , queues form every morning as she's trying to cook eggs and replenish bacon for buffet . Restaurant Manager advised us on our last morning there where the egg station was! The bungalow was cleaned daily although twice I called reception asking if our room was getting cleaned as it was after 4 pm , this was due to staff shortage as the person normally cleaning our room was day off. Overall Peace Resort is a lovely hotel with beautiful bungalows, it just needs to concentrate on tidying up the outdoor areas , replacing the sun loungers which are so uncomfortable and thinking more about the paying guests staying with them.

I stayed at Peace Resort on the recommendation of a friend who had stayed there two years prior. Due to Covid 19 the hotel was not yet back up and running as I would assume it normally does. The staff need a special mention, they are kind and friendly and always greet guests with a smile.

Teng the duty manager was extremely helpful and upgraded our stay to the Presidential suite which was certainly a lovely spot to watch the ocean at night and to be able to literally jump on to the beach.

We stayed a total of five nights and booked a Pool Sea Breeze2BD villa through Booking.com. I feel that the room rate of almost 10k Thai Baht per night was hugely overpriced for this hotel and the room, the room felt very cramped for a family of four.

Breakfast is the usual buffet style and good for kids to pick and chose what they want, the pool is also good fun for them. The location is great, you can walk along the beach easily to Fishermans Village.

I have rated our stay very good because my kids truly had a fun time with their friends, the resort is very clean and welcoming. I would recommend a beachfront villa or the larger two bedroom villas.

Thai food in the restaurant is delicious. I hope that they can improve on things like having wine in the restaurant and all foods on the menu as the situation with Covid improves.

We stayed here for a week in February last year and again this year. I can honestly say this is the most beautiful place I have ever been and and the accommodation was first class. We stayed in a beach front 2 bedroom bungalow with its own pool- which was a little piece of luxury but they also have smaller apartments and one bedroom bungalows.
The staff here are polite and nothing is too much trouble, they are happy to suggest and organise trips out for you, the ladies t reception speak perfect English and everyone you meet around the resort on a daily basis will always great you with a smile and a hello.
the breakfast was out of this world, with fresh eggs, omelettes, bacon, waffles, pancakes, bread, pastries, cakes............ and so much more every day. And all of this served just a few feet away from the sea.
There is a lovely pool next to the restaurant and a bar serving drinks through the day. You can have a massage, or a beauty treatment on site. There is a gym and a creche if you need it.
I honestly cant recommend this place enough, if you are thinking of coming to Koh Samui, definitely book to stay here, you wont be disappointed.
One tip - contact the hotel directly via email for prices - don't go by what is on sites such as booking.com

This is a lovely hotel right on the beach with direct access, unlike some others where you have to cross a public walkway. The beach was like a crushed coral, not as soft as pure sand, but it was ok. The staff we encountered were all very helpful and always had a smile for you. The rooms are all based on a detached bungalow style in the grounds of the hotel. They are well equipped, quite stylish and comfortable. We upgraded the room for £130 for 10 nights which gave us a larger room, larger decking area, a jacuzzi bath with large separate shower area, and it was nearer to the pool and restaurant, however, the other rooms were absolutely fine. I should mention that I was woken up daily at 4 am by the birds in the trees near our room, this is obviously not the hotels fault, I’m just a light sleeper, it might not be a problem for you. The breakfast was buffet style with all the usual choices of fruit, cereals, breads, cakes, juices, and cooked food available. We were b&b only, which meant we had to buy all other food and drink during the day and evening, but we had choices. There was a Family Mart shop just over the road out the front of the hotel which catered for most needs, including bottled water and there was also a little boat that came along every day on the beach, she prepared fresh food while you wait. Great mango salads, chicken skewers, spring rolls etc. all at a silly cheap price. Having said that, we also ate at the hotel and found the food very good and at a reasonable price, with a good choice of food and drink. Evenings, we walked the 10 minute walk down to the Fishermans Village, this is where all of the beach front restaurants are competing for your business, there are many shops and craft stalls also. The food was excellent and at a good price, we ate in the Happy Elephant Restaurant several times, but its all good. We got a taxi from the hotel for 400 Baht to the Big Buddha attraction, It’s worth a visit. Another place definitely worth a visit is the Samui Elephant Home. For about £80 per person, they pick you up from the hotel and bring you back, it’s a half day which includes food and drink. It’s the best 80 quid I’ve spent. You really do get up close and personal with the elephants, you mix their food, then feed them, you go for a walk with them and lastly you get to wash them, you actually get in the water with them, there’s loads of photo opportunities and they make a video also of your time with them. Unfortunately, the Coronavirus inevitability had an impact here too, we were lucky enough to leave on our planed date just before places started to close, sad to see everywhere virtually empty in the last few days, but when this is all over, I can recommend a visit to Thailand, in particular Bangkok, Koh Samui and the Peace resort hotel. Trailfinders organized our trip and I would definitely recommend them, also Exo Travel for all of our excursions in Bangkok, a big thanks to Paul our guide who was with us for 3 days around Bangkok, well worth it. A great holiday.

This is not only a fabulously located hotel, it is staffed by the most courteous, efficient, kind and friendly people throughout. From the moment of making our enquiries before booking to the moment we were dropped off at Koh Samui airport to go home, the staff were amazing.

We have returned from 3 weeks stay in one of the deluxe plunge pool rooms, less than a minute walk from a beautiful beach of an amazing bay of this tropical island.

Had the best of privacy of our room, terrace and own plunge pool and the use of the hotel swimming pool, grounds and amenities.

Breakfasts are a mix of Thai and full breakfast choices, freshly prepared cooked eggs of your choice, fresh fruit and salad.

We were provided with a complimentary dinner on any evening that we wished during our stay which was fabulous and booked a BBQ dinners. Both dinners were prepared and served to us and delicious.

The Reception staff always smiled and greeted us, and were so helpful from the moment we arrived at the hotel until we were taken back to Koh Samui airport.

We booked the hire of a moped through the Reception staff, and organised a taxi whenever we asked for one, which were mostly provided by the hotel itself. It was amazing exploring the island on our moped and we plan to do many more rides when we return to Koh Samui.

Our room was cleaned daily ,,, ok one day out of 20 was missed but there was no problem providing me with fresh towels etc when I asked for them. Our bedding was changed regularly, every two to three days and the lady who had responsibility for our room was very friendly, polite and helpful as she worked.

The location of the hotel is perfect and within a short walk of mini supermarkets, petrol station and walking to the right leaving the hotel driveway a lovely fresh fruit and veg shop, and a cafe selling either eat in or takeaway freshly cooked bbq foods - street food.

Fisherman Village is about 5/10 minute walk (depending on the heat and humidity of the day/evening) along either the sandy beach or main road. There are lots of restaurants and bars in Fisherman Village and in nearby resorts. I will review those individually but briefly we highly recommend the Happy Elephant, Nirvana and Mailei’s Cocktail bar in Fisherman Village. There are many other bars. We found two other lovely restaurants within 5 mins drive, Treehouse Silent Beach in Maenam and Secret Garden Bar (with singers on Thursday and Sunday evenings) in Bangrak.

Thank you to Peace Resort from Room 303 for making our stay so comfortable and delightful.

From arrival in the late evening, the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Our luggage was delayed in the transfer and the hotel chased it up as soon as they could and it arrived by 11am the next day.

The room (small bungalow) was lovely with a large bed and spacious bathroom. The air conditioning was essential as the weather was hot and humid. Our rooms were cleaned daily by friendly staff and everyone on site always took the time to say hello.

Fresh towels were always available in the rooms and in the pool if they were needed.

The pool was large and had plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. There was a toddler pool and a box of communal pool toys that you could make use of.

The hotel also had two kayaks and two paddle boards which could be used at any time by the hotel guests.

The pool deck leads right onto the beach and there are a range of sofas and chairs which look right out to sea. Very nice views from here.

The hotel gym was small but functional for a quick workout if that’s your kind of thing and the games rooms had darts, pool table and table tennis available all day.

The hotel restaurant was really good. Food and drinks often took a while to arrive but it was always delicious when it came and we didn’t mind the wait one bit.

Breakfast (7am-10.30am) was included in the holiday cost and it was always very varied and nothing ever seemed to run out. Very tasty. Plenty of choices for vegetarians too.

Happy hour was from 4-7pm and we certainly made use of this 😉

The hotel is located about 10minutes slow walk from the fisherman’s village. The street markets were on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for shopping and eating. It was a really nice experience every time. Just be prepared for lots of mopeds and taxis zipping around the pedestrians.

There were also several cheap massage treatment /spa businesses nearby which we made use of multiple times and really enjoyed the relaxation.

Walking along the beach was lovely and when we were there, it was fairly quiet.

We were a party of 14 and we all had a really great time. We had a birthday and an engagement during our stay and the hotel made a special effort to decorate the rooms and provide a celebration cake. It was very kind and generous.

We loved it here and would highly recommend.

This hotel was impressive since the moment we arrived. The reception staff are so friendly and the layout of the hotel and grounds are modern and impressive. The place is kept immaculate and the rooms are perfect because each one is detached, which makes it so peaceful. The little touches like an oil burner being lit in your room when you return to it each day and the high quality body lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispensers make this hotel stand out above any others I have visited before.
Another fantastic quality is that they don't charge you over the odds for everything. We had room service when we arrived because we were tired and ate in the hotel one evening and a few lunchtimes - it was fabulous and competitively priced.
We did also wait for the bar quite alot but it wasn't a problem and the staff were always trying their best and smiling.
There are kayaks and paddle boards for the guests to just sign out, towels to use and plenty of sunbeds.
The Thai massage I had was a lovely experience too, thank you 🙏
You can walk along the beach from here and cut up onto a cobbled street along to Fisherman's village in about 10 minutes (far more pleasant than the road).
I absolutely loved staying at this hotel - we all did - it was my favourite hotel yet 🤍

Yes you can use a credit card to settle your final bill and I’m pretty sure there was no surcharge. Email them direct to check . They usually get back to you within a few hours
