We had lunch here and it was perfect. Good Thai food and cheap beers and cocktails. Bit shocked about the bad reviews but we can't really say anything about that. Staff was really nice. You can eat at the beach here as well.

The people who run the place are lovely and friendly, and will help with all your needs....... It does need a lot of T.L.S.......It's a roof over your head if ur needing somewhere to stay!! And the drinks are one of the cheapest around on the beach front!!

So we were booked calm beach in koh Samui by a Bangkok agent. This was because we were looking for a much quieter experience than chaweng beach. We arrived and there was no electricity so after stumbling through the back of the property we were eventually greeted by a lady holding a candle who didn't appear to speak much English...

We stayed in a fan room at this hotel for 3 nights when really we should have left after the first night as the whole room wasnt cleaned once while we stayed there, which meant we had the same towels and the same sheets, bins not emptied, and unfortunately we saw cockroaches on a few occassions. Who knows what may...

We picked this place thinking it would be a nice simple bungalow by the beach. For the price we paid (around $ 55 per night) we didn't expect 5 stars but a clean simple place. It was anything but. This was probably the most disgusting and dirty place I have ever come across. They gave us dirty, smelly, stained towels...

We went to have lunch here on this visit as Cactus was up for renovation. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was lovely and good value. We had Tom Yum Soup (spicy) which was amazing. Other dishes (thai) where very good too. This is a very good, reasonably priced restaurant on the beach of Bophut where you can enjoy lovely...
