A peaceful setting in Atenas. The very comfy and friendly atmosphere that Josiane and Gary create makes it an ideal place to stay to rest. We spent a few days to recover from jetlag before going to travel around Costa Rica. And were so happy that we decided to spend a few days again at the end of our stay...

The Poco Cielo jungle cabins are accessible by way of several steep paths descending into a deep ravine, at the bottom of which is a rock filled stream. These paths are not for the out-of-shape and they are not lighted at night. Once inside one of these "cabina", however, I did not want to leave. What an experience! There are...

My wife and I stayed at cabin 3 for a few days at Poco. It is absolutely clean and Spotless! Very comfortable, roomy and tastefully decorated with much attention given to detail. Gary and Josanne were friendly and fantastic hosts. We would definitely go back.

This was our second visit to this resort and it could not have been better! The climate in Arenas is wonderful. Warm days and cool nights. No need for air conditioning in the casita. We stayed in casita #5, and did our cooking in the ranchero. I really enjoyed using the ranchero, which is equipped with everything you could possibly...

We felt so welcome from Gary and Josanne from the day we arrived. The casita is beautiful, has all the comforts you will need. We slept very well, didnt need any air conditioning. There is a beautiful rancho down by the pool and has a view of Grecia and the Poas volcano. The grounds were kept beautifully and the casitas...

Georgeous, well kept grounds overlooking the lush and vivid Costa Rican landscape. The owners and staff were extremely helpful, friendly and approachable. Perfect place for a retreat or vacation. Quiet, peaceful and clean with anything you could need. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This resort was the highlight of our 7 weeks overseas trip. The owners Josanne and Gary were so friendly and charming. The location is in Atenas a charming mountain town that's far enough away from the bustle of San Jose but still close enough to go shopping there and see the sites. Also did day trips to the volcanos and...

I've traveled around the world and Poco Cielo blew my mind, waking up in the morning to beautiful sunrise complete with mountain views, singing birds and complimentary local coffee. 60 odd species of birds including Tucan, parrots, wood peckers, etc, also local monkeys and sloths migrating through the property, so be on the lookout. Gary and Josanne an amazing couple...

We enjoyed our stay in one of the casitas. They are modern and in a beautiful location. The huge covered patio with a full kitchen by the pool was an added bonus. The owners are very friendly and you feel as if you are staying with family. They were building some "tree houses" that look like they will be wonderful...
