We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of September 2020. This was to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were greeted on arrival by guest relations who were extremely friendly, and that continued throughout our stay with all the staff. On arrival we were offered cake and champagne as a celebratory gift. Unfortunately these never materialised on both nights that we were promised. It was disappointing but didn't spoil our stay. We had suite which included its own plunge pool. We had a large bedroom, lounge area and large bathroom and a great sea view over the beach and perfectly situated for the the stunning sunsets. Staff around the pool and beach were very friendly and attentive providing fresh fruit daily. Never had a problem getting sun beds and spaced appropriately for Covid. The main restaurant which is buffet, was generally very good but a bit chaotic at times due to Covid-19 arrangements and probably because some guests were impatient. Overall the staff coped really well and the maitre d's went above and beyond to keep people happy. The food could have been hotter but the choices were extensive including vegetarian options. The two a la carte restaurants were excellent if a little pricey. The bar areas were very nice, again with very friendly staff and great views. We especially enjoyed the complimentary massages, they were excellent. As the hotel was so comfortable and relaxing we didn't go out much but did manage a trip to Rethymnon which is a lovely town to wander around. A farewell gift upon leaving was a lovely touch. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back.

The friendly and wonderful staff did make our holiday just perfect. The food, the beach, the room, everthing perfect and 5-star like. If you need something, there is always somebody to care and help. We are coming back soon!

I stayed for a night and found it quite comfy. I don't think it matches a true 5* hotel, but I appreciated the staff's friendliness. They went at lengths brining me some nice gifts after my check-out, which I enjoy at home. While the rooms got a make-over, it's done with a typical "Greek-interpretation of quality". The cushioned seats were full of stains. I recommend taking a sea-front room, as other rooms oddly face the walkways and appear quite dark. The breakfast "buffet" was OK, cooks are eager handing out food as Covid prevention. The service appeared disorganized - while used plates piled on tables, waiters were more concerned handing out fresh organe juice. The pool is nice, although the constant humming of some machinery at the shore takes the subtle noise of crashing waves away. The beach also got some huge stone and concrete installation, which forms an unnaterual, protected swimming area. Downside to this is that no matter from where you look at it, it just feels like swimming inside a stone quarry. Overall nice hotel for a short stay-over.

The beginning of our stay did not was very nice: poor reception, no porter (we had to take care of our luggages ourselves), parking lot full, and no advice or help on where to leave the car. Then arrival at the buffet, lukewarm food and dirty children chair. We were very surprised because the review of this hotel were laudatory. We shared our disappointment with the manager who took our comments into consideration and did his best to make the rest of our stay as good as possible. Our room was very beautiful and comfortable, the sea view is a real plus. If you can afford a rooms with the pool do not hesitate, they are stunning. The hotel has created a sandy beach, which is very clean and pleasant. They provide clean towels everyday and offer some fruits directly on the beach. Personally we found the food of the buffet a bit too basic, not always hot and not super tasty. Maybe because of COVID the staff was a little bit more stressed than the habit.
