We have just spent 2 nights: visiting Heligan, the Eden Project and walking the South West Coast Path. Clean, comfortable bed, peaceful location and an excellent breakfast - delicious fresh fruit salad and eggs cooked to order. Annabel and Jean made us very welcome and were very helpful in providing maps for two wonderful walks. Would recommend the 6 mile...

Stayed 3 nights at Polgreen, visiting Heligan and Eden Project. Spotlessly clean, well-appointed and comfortable in peaceful location. Nothing too much trouble for friendly hosts Annabel and Jean. Splendid breakfast cooked to order, plus homemade jams and muesli. Very highly recommended.

This b & b is run with military precision. You have to specify exactly when you will arrive, and you have to agree on which of four slots you will take your breakfast. There is no guest sitting room, and only one chair is provided in the bedroom, mainly because there was no room for another. The shower room/toilet could...

Management response:

We were somewhat surprised by these complaints as unfortunately the lady in question didn’t raise any issues about her room during her stay. When she was checking out we asked if everything had been ok and were told that it had! However, in response to the points made: You do not have to specify exactly when you are going to...

Stayed at Polgreen as a birthday break - could not have wished for better accommodation, it is idyllic. The room was beautifully furnished with lovely views over the garden, chocolates and cookies left every day, what a treat! The breakfasts of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon were delicious. They even provided soya milk for me. But above all was the...

Home from home. Room was very comfortable and just didn't want to get out of bed in the morning as it was so comfortable. Main reason for choosing the location was Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan which are very close by. Annabel and Jean were extremely friendly hosts. Breakfasts were lovely with a good choice on offer including...
