Nice hotel for leisurely rest and gastronomic pleasure. Incredibly delicious and varied breakfasts and evening buffet! Comfortable beds and great rooms! We had a 9th floor in the furthest building from the reception. Sea view and golf course view. The presence of construction in the distance had no effect on the beauty that was discovered. Fresh fruit and drinking water were regularly brought into the room in sufficient quantities. Hotel manager Elena (welcoming and friendly) was very helpful in dealing with the local colour - total lack of English by the Aboriginal people and came to the rescue after very short hours

From getting off the car to checking in and arriving at the room, the overall service was in place. The housekeeper Yannis was very enthusiastic and generous. He introduced the hotel in detail and added WeChat to solve the difficulties I encountered at any time. The hotel is well maintained and the details of the room are more user-friendly. It is less than 100 meters from the room to the beach, which is very convenient for watching the sea. Areas that can be improved: 1. No one delivers the takeaway. It would be better if it could be delivered to the room. It takes a long time to walk if the distance is far. Some guests are afraid to go alone at night. 2. It would be better to equip it with mosquito repellent spray. 3. I asked for a wooden comb and it was moldy. This is understandable due to the weather. 4. The leaves in the private swimming pool room can be cleaned up and the water can be cleaner.

Our family and friends (7 of us!) liked almost everything, I will describe + and those small ones - that were + Gorgeous beach line (wide, clean, with good sand without stones) We were lucky with the sea - it’s always a little stormy there, but in our time we swam every day (apparently their red flag is simply not removed) Good mattresses on sunbeds You don’t have to take sand toys for your child - they’ll give you everything There is a Russian-speaking guest speaker Elena - she will solve almost all your problems, so you won’t feel any language barrier Very green area Wonderful pools on site Delicious varied breakfasts with freshly squeezed juices Nearby (to the right of the hotel) there is a street with restaurants Here you will get complete relaxation
- :It's a long way from the airport :We didn’t see any activity on the territory or evening programs either. :Everything that is located near the pools costs extra money - and these are all sorts of devices for children and of course for them it is an attraction : There is no bar by the pool or on the beach (water is free and they will bring you a coconut for extra money), but if you want to have a drink or a snack on the beach or at least on the area next to the beach, it won’t work out - just no : no matter how hard Elena tries, the mentality of the receiving party outweighs, no one except her even understands English - that’s why I take Google translator with me - they speak only Chinese, the plates are not removed from the table while you eat - they pile up in an even heap, even upon arrival after going out to dinner and taking a walk - our luggage was never delivered to the room, and it seems like all the little things are piling up :well, I’ll repeat again, there are always waves there - for families with small children - I would rather not recommend it

I had the pleasure of spending an unforgettable night at Raffles Hotel in Hainan. Staying in the 215 square meter Garden View Suite brought me unparalleled enjoyment. The spacious living room and balcony made me feel unlimited freedom and comfort.
I was deeply attracted by the hotel's tropical garden landscaping and magnificent beach views. Every step was like being in a fairy-like garden, which made me feel peaceful and relaxed both physically and mentally. Whether in the early morning or evening, I loved enjoying the beauty of nature on the balcony, feeling the breeze on my face and the sound of the waves.
However, what I can't forget most was the excellent service of the housekeeper Rita. She always kept a smile and professionalism and met all my needs. Her attention to details made me feel at home and made my stay experience even better.
I was deeply impressed by Raffles Hotel. It is a perfect resort that provides world-class services and amazing natural beauty. I highly recommend Raffles Hotel to all travelers seeking a tropical vacation experience. I look forward to setting foot in this dreamy place again and enjoying more wonderful times.

We have been at this property during mid autumn festival holidays and really enjoyed the quiteness of the hotel and its cleanliness. Nevertheless the peace was broken during breakfast. We like to have breakfast outdoor but, exactly during breakfast time, the hotel management decided it was the right time to do renovation works of the restaurant area... noisy and dusty, unfortunatelly. One great plus of the location is the beach where you can finally swim without getting bothered by speedboats or lifeguards saying that it's crazy dangerous to swim in the sea... unfortunatelly this part of Sanya is full of sand flyes, we were not prepared and got bit on the first day, itchy and painfull for the next 10 days

The sand quality in Lingshui is really much better after coming from Sanya. I stayed at the Raffles Hotel for two days this time. It was really a vacation feeling. I loved lying on the beach and watching the sea every day. I have to thank my housekeeper Wang Yinan very much. She helped us solve many problems during our stay and arranged a birthday cake. Especially when I caught a cold on the second day, she brought porridge to me. The staff in the catering department and the beach were also very friendly. The front desk also helped upgrade the room to see the lighthouse. The room and outdoor environment were not old, but the instructions for the gym were a bit difficult to find. It was a very satisfactory trip and I would recommend it to my family and friends to come and experience it~

Love the landscape and the Balinese design. It brought a piece of South East Asia to me. We especially appreciated the size of the room and the view of our private pool sitting on our balcony sipping coffee in the morning. The children enjoyed the activities organized by the Raffles Rascals from crab catching to coconut bowling, soap making and we found Susan at the spa to be very kind to us. She led us in the soap making activities and showed us the herb garden. The kids also went surfing. I found the room price value during the holidays to be of good value. Except for the Italian restaurant that was good, I felt like the rest of the food could use with some improvement in quality. Overall really enjoyed our stay! Oh and beware of tiny mosquitoes that are very itchy so bring your insect repellent.

I always thought Raffles was a high-end brand, but after the actual experience, I was really disappointed, especially in terms of service. Before checking in, someone from the hotel called to ask various questions. I mentioned that I had been there for an anniversary, and they said on the phone that they would arrange the decoration for the anniversary. After checking in, I didn't find any decoration in the room at all. I don't know what the point of asking in advance is. When checking in, they said there was a housekeeper. I added WeChat and said that I could find her if I had any questions, and then she disappeared. She didn't answer the phone or reply to WeChat, and I didn't know how to find her if I had any questions. Also, during breakfast, you can only take things like baby chairs by yourself. There was no spoon on the table, so I asked the waiter for it. I was told that there should be one on the table. If not, I should go back and wait for the person who set up the table to send it. There was also a musty smell in the room. When I checked in, the two bath towels were wet, as if they had been used. The reason why I can give the service two stars is entirely because the attitude of the manager and the waiter was very good during the beach barbecue. There was a light rain in the middle and they ran to give towels and umbrellas immediately. However, I really don't want to go to this hotel again.

I only visited the Clearwater lounge bar for a drink and didn’t stay at the hotel itself, so this review might come off as harsh. However I feel it’s important to give my feedback.
Upon asking the barmaid for a brandy, I was made to wait around 10 minutes before the drink was eventually served to me by a different barman, because he was faffing around in the kitchen. Turns out he was preparing ice. He put ice in the glass without asking me, which I didn’t want, so I made him take it out.
When I sat down with my drink, on closer inspection I could see that the glass was filthy. So I took it back and told the barman who served me. He took the glass off me, poured the brandy from the glass into a spirit measurer, cleaned the glass with a cloth, then poured the brandy back in. I politely declined and asked for a fresh glass with fresh brandy, £30 a serving so not cheap.
I’ve lived in China for many years and expats here will know that hospitality and bar service isn’t their strongest skill, that’s just a fact. Please ensure your bar staff are fully trained and know all about good service, health and safety and sanitation.
