We stayed for 4 nights there and really enjoyed it. The good things about it: It is a very peaceful place well localized to do many activities like the 7 colors, the rhumerie, the 7 cascade, the black river gorge, the coast, etc. We also did the 6 km walk around the property who took us 2.5 hrs. The staff...

Second visit. Had the most wonderful experience. Stayed at 'Le Perchoir', stunning views. Loads of activities. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Typical Mauritian dinner served to your lodge on request. Absolutely fantastic experience. Can't wait to come back.

Wonderful setting clean friendly lots of space - fantastic food delivered to our house- horse riding was great fun and we loved the horse so quite and so well looked after - our house was the atelier house - nothing better than coming back from a Day tour and drinking a glass of wine on the terrace in beautiful quietness...

I am not a resort on the beach person. A place away from the crowds, close to good restaurants, just calm and quiet. I spent a few days in Mauritius after a grueling flight from the US. My stay in the one bedroom cabin with a small kitchen and outdoor living room and dining area was just what I needed....

This is a charming place in the most stunning setting. Our chalet was so cute and had an incredible view over the mountains and towards the Rhumerie de Chamarel. The bed was super comfy and the shower was hot and powerful (as far as I’m concerned, these are the most important features). The staff were all great, very helpful and...

This was my last stop before turning back home from my Tour de Maurice adventure and everything about this location was even more amazing than I had imagined. The rustic farm life around me made me realize the beauty and simplicity of things that we often fail to appreciate in our busy lives. The property located in the heights of...

This place was clearly set up by professionals in the hospitality industry as every detail has been thought through to make the client feel totally taken care of and free of worries. The chalets are built in such a way that you cannot hear or see your neighbours and you really have a sense of outdoors and nature whilst having...

La vieille cheminee is ideally located on chamarel hillside. Surrounded by trees and singing birds. The staff is very polite and the breakfast was excellently balanced. Lots of tracks for trekking in the lush forest or by the riverside.

It is another aspect of Mauritius, far from the touristic attractions and busy hotels of the coast. The swimming pool spot offers an amazing mountainous view in a calm and relaxing environment. However: beware mosquitoes...

We stayed here for a week with our 4 kids in August and love the wilderness and freedom of our week. The kids spent a lot of time with the horses and Freddie at the stables was so good including them in his daily brushing and caring for the animals. We walked a lot, ate lovely local food, rode the...
