Wonderful grounds, wonderful house and a lovely couple for hosts. Amanda and David looked after us for a great few days. They were extremely hospitable and friendly, and the room was excellent (Tethera). Huge breakfast cooked to order and a lovely evening meal that should be ordered in advance. Don't miss a visit to their very own up-market gift shop...

Totally enjoyed our stay there. Great rooms (all ensuite), great food, grounds and location. Amanda and her team made us feel completely at home. Close to Hill Top, Hawkshead, Coniston. Completely recommended

We stayed at Low Graythwaite Hall for a family birthday celebration and we loved it. Some of the family stayed in the house and some were in the cottage, but we all enjoyed breakfasts and evening meals together in the hall. The bedrooms in the house were splendid, while the cottage was cosy and welcoming. Amanda's cooking was excellent and...

It was not only the warm sunny weather that made our few days at Low Graythwaite Hall a special holiday. This lovely historic house set in beautiful gardens offered a warm welcome as soon as we turned into the drive. The welcome was reinforced by Amanda who brought us tea and home made cake in the beamed and panelled sitting...

David and Amanda made us feel so welcome, even a cup of tea and home made cake on the patio when we arrived - stunning location and the hall's grounds has amazing topiary. Lots of advice about what to do and where to eat, even guided walks! We stayed in the "Catbells" room, with a four poster bed and cute...

We stayed here for a long weekend over Easter whilst walking in the lakes and had a lovely stay. Beautiful location and house which is obviously well cared for. The bedrooms and bathrooms had everything you needed and felt both luxurious and cosy. The rest of the house was exactly what you would expect from an old Lake District house....

Thank you to Amanda and David for their perfect hospitality. They are so welcoming and make it feel very much like a home away from home. If you are looking for a romantic break in the lake district, look no further. This beautiful house has 5 or 6 generous rooms which are very well maintained, clean and each have their own themes. The breakfast is lovely and full of local produce, as are the optional evening meals (well worth it if you don't fancy driving out)....
