My husband and I were fortunate enough to get one of the last available 2 bedroomed apartments over the June long weekend in Bateman's Bay. Corrigans Cove proved to be perfect for us. The apartment we stayed in looked to be recently refurbished, everything was as new and there was a plentiful supply of fluffy towels, toiletries, linen and extra blankets as it was cold. The airconditioning/heating worked perfectly. Shower was lovely and hot. Ample crockery and cutlery, although we didn't eat in. The restaurant has a small, but generous portions, menu and their cocktail menu was pretty good too! Alex in the restaurant was lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for us, especially as we were celebrating a big wedding anniversary. Andrew was most helpful and I'm sure if there had been any issues, he would have resolved them immediately. Altogether a great experience and to be recommended.

Liked · The team at the property where amazing huge thank you to Andy and the whole team, F&B team kitchen team all amazing. The whole team always willing to do what ever they can to accommodate our needs. We love seafood platters was the beat in the whole of batesman bay, they also cooked the items on it to the way we requested no questions asked. Is a must to have while in the area even if not staying at the property. The team even made up 2 of them for us for lunch one day during the week which is not there normal practice but where happy to do so to help us out with are 3 boys which can be hard for us to take out for a nice lunch or dinner so was awesome we could do that from the amazing view of the spacious 3 bedroom apartment we stayed in. With the summer of 2020 / 2021 on its way with some updates currently doing to the property will be the place to keep an eye on as will be the hot spot to stay during the coming peak season. Recommend book well in advance as will book out quickly. I have been in the facilities and hotel industry well over 15 years and have to say is one of the best over all teams i have encountered in my time. Can tell they all enjoy there jobs and are happy to help in anyway they can, with in practical means of course. Thank you again to the whole team from Sal and family.

Disliked · a few more options on the menu would add value for options for kids maybe not needed just would be an added bonus. not sure where they could fit it but a kids entertainment area would add value to the property as a complete family holiday destination. Would also help in keeping noisy kids like mine away from the main areas where some adults have come to get away from their own noisy kids. again not a need would just be an added value to the property. there was a couple little things you could say not worth mentioning compared the great things, but are items they are already currently working on in some upgrades can wait to see the finish product from our next visit

Based on the hotel's website, we expected a whole lot more, but were disappointed to say the least, upon arrival.
1) The rooms are hard to find ... the whole precinct is like a rabbit warren.
2) Housekeeping was lacking.
3) Maintenance seemed very poor with some fixtures simply beyond repair. One such example was the air-conditioning outlet inside the 3rd bedroom cupboard(!) that was hanging by dangling by one screw. Another was the placement of the light switch for the upstairs ensuite. After much searching, we found the switch behind the door! Fool's paradise.
4) Power problems. When you turn the bathroom light on, all the other lights went out. I brought this to the attention of the reception staff, but it wasn't followed up. Fortunately my son (who was with us) is an electrician. He took a look at the internal fuse box and noticed that the light fuse (for whatever reason) was overloading. We ended up sticking a sign on the bathroom light switch to "not touch".
5) TV could not pick up Foxtel or any other pay TV channels, despite the hotel advertising that it did. We had two of the staff check it out, but they gave up trying.
6) Very few car spaces for guests at the front and rear of the hotel. We ended up parking on the grass.
I'd only give this hotel a 2-star rating at best.

We arrived after a long road trip at 2pm on Saturday to find our room was not ready so we waited in the reception lounge where the seating was stained and dirty. After a short time we were given the key and told to haul our bags around the back of the building and up a flight of stairs to the room. On entry we noticed the place looked dirty. The toilet was stained, the toilet seat was cracked and the floor and walls in the shower were filthy. The table and bench tops were sticky, the lounge was dirty and stained and the curtains in the lounge room were hanging off the track. The upstairs bedroom had dirty tissues and paper strewn across the floor and the carpets were stained. It looked like the cleaners had not had time to clean and had just gone in and changed the linen (we think), refilled the soap and left a breakfast pack on the table. You could not use the pool as there was a party of guests who had taken over the pool area and were consuming alcohol and had ordered large quantities of home delivered pizza.
The location was really noisy and parking was a problem as well.
When leaving, the staff asked if we enjoyed our stay and we advised the manager of the issues. He promised he would look into the cleaning issue and offered to reimburse us for some of our accommodation cost and not charge us $3.50 for the drink from the mini bar, given our bad experience. Three day later I checked our credit card and they charged us $6.00 for the mini bar and had not made good on his offer of a rebate so I called him and he apologised and said he would sort it out in the next few days. 16 days later and STILL WAITING!!!!! We had been travelling for 3 weeks prior to arriving in Batemans Bay and we stayed in great accommodation in other towns for half the cost of Corrigan Cove and so much better. Given that we are in the middle of a global pandemic, I would have thought cleanliness would have been at the top of their priorities not to mention customer service. Please note we did not ask for or was looking for any discount.... it was offered but obviously only to keep us quiet. We only staying there as there was no other accommodation available at short notice. This place was definitely NO RESORT just a nightmare.

Great location and lovely pool but the room was advertised as having a bay view but the only view was of the carnival across the road.

The apartment was not ready when for checkin when we arrived (at about 5pm) and beds had to be made and the second bedroom vacuumed while we waited.

There was a smell of mould and ants in the bathroom and when I raised this on checkout I was told that ants had always been a problem and came out anytime food (ants were in the bathroom where there had been no food) was present or things were unhygienic - implying the ants were my fault. There was also a smell of sewage within the apartment which I was told was a council issue and that the smell was present in several apartments.

The apartment overall was disappointingly unclean with dust on the window sills and dishes appeared unclean. There was also a lack of cutlery (2 butter knives for a 2 bedroom apartment) and other mismatched items.

Overall, I was disappointed particularly given the way the receptionist responded when I raised concerns and the $800 I paid for 2 nights of accommodation.

Hi Sally, I'm so sorry to hear your stay wasn't up to standard. We do our best to go above and beyond for all guests, and unfortunately it sounds like we have fallen short on this occasion. We would love the opportunity to impress you at a future date. February is a great time of year to visit, the weather is great, the carnival will have left and the crowds are gone. I apologise again, and hope to see you soon. Please call and ask for Andrew or myself when/if booking a future stay and we will personally ensure you are looked after. All the best

Conveniently located away from the main Centre of Bateman’s bay. Corrigans Cove offers clean, modern self contained apartments that are complimented with quality appliances. The restaurant offers great food if you want to spoil yourself and the pool and bar are a must! Located next to Batehaven local shops, where you can stock up with all the essentials and maybe even grab a coffee and cake from the local bakery.

The 2 stars are for the location, friendly manager and comfortable bed.

We've stayed here before in an apartment and it was great. This time we booked a studio room, influenced by the picture of a spacious seating area on a booking site. This wasn't a studio, it had a microwave and a giant sink with no bench space. It was so poorly designed, there was opening behind the TV that meant all the noise from downstairs travelled straight into the room. This competed with the road noise from the poorly sealed Windows and doors. Also because smoking is allowed on balconies, we couldn't enjoy our own balcony without breathing in 2nd hand smoke.

We found a lack of power points to plug in a phone charger and the kettle had to be used in the bathroom. The light switch for the bathroom was behind the door!

Everything in the room was tired and worn.

This also wasn't a full service hotel room, the room wasn't serviced in the 3 days we were there.

If you just need a motel room there are so many better and cheaper options.

"Location ! location ! location !"
The resort is well positioned with a great view of the ocean.

As one of the owners/investors in the complex it is a great place to visit frequently.
Just two hours from Canberra and you can 't ask for more.

My recent visit last week end I found the hotel to be full of life and with a smile on every ones face. The guests looked happy and content.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable, but needs some refurbishment.
.
My self and the other owners have started on a 100% refurbish program which should complete all the rooms in the complex within an year or so. Also attend to much needed maintenance issues. The hotel like many others suffered very badly due to bush fires and Covid 19.

After the refurbishment and all maintenance issues are sorted the beach side resort will revert back to it's former glory as the best boutique 4.5 star resort on the beach. With a sight of new relief the dream is not so far away.

We as professional hoteliers for the last 40 years or so found Andrew, Lucy and the staff to be the perfect management team to take the hotel to the next level.
We know it is not easy to satisfy all the guests, but every effort is put in by the team to achieve the best outcome.

Thank you Andrew

The room was spacious, airy, clean, quiet and modern. The parking area was safe with security gates, which is handy if you want to leave things strapped to the car. It was priced ok online, but when we rang direct we were quoted a much higher tariff and they wouldn’t match the online price.

Recently the bush fires have affected many people, least of all those of us that live in the Batemans Bay area, and because of those bush fires we had been without electricity and had been living off whatever we could BBQ for over a week.

Thank the stars for Corrigan's Cove.

We booked into the hotel after eight days without electricity and then went to the restaurant for our first "home cooked" meal. The wait staff, Matt and Mary, were exceptional, taking our order and bringing drinks promptly. My husband even changed his mind and changed his main after his entree had been served and it was not a problem with the staff in the kitchen able to accommodate his needs.
Both our entrees were exceptional and I would recommend the Prawn and Haloumi cheese salad to all.
Our mains arrived and were huge, the steak was cooked to our liking, rare for myself and medium well done for the other half, the diane sauce could have used a bit more garlic but was still wonderful.
When we went back to our apartment I took a long leisurely bath, and the rooms were clean and well maintained.

I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this wonderful establishment, even us locals.
