I stayed for a week and it was a good choice, I'd certainly go back. The location was excellent, right in front of some of the best Las Penitas surf breaks and near to some excellent restaurants. My room was basic but huge and good value. The staff were great, especially helpful when another guest was stung by a stingray...

Good prices, good food. This was a few doors down from where we were staying, so we ate and drank here a few times (we did not stay here, so this review is just about the restaurant). Breakfast is a good deal. Marta was one of the staff who served us on a number of occasions, and she is just...

2 nights private room with own bathroom. Room plain but clean. Fan. Located on the beach, lovely spot. Great surf all day every day. Gorgeous beach. The lady behind the bar/ reception could try to be a bit friendly. Basically seems she doesn't like life. Prices are expensive for food and drinks but similar to the few other shacks along...

We stayed two nights in Oasis and it is true that you should order food an hour before you're starting to feel hungry because kitchen is very slow. We were also asking for a laundry service in town but they offered to wash our clothes, which was a mistake because three (first I noticed this in two light coloured shirts...

This is your very average beach front hostel. We had a cabana facing the ocean which was extremely bare bones. The room was quite grimy, the pillow lumpy, sheets were mismatched and smelled musty. However you couldn't get closer to the ocean. The front of the cabana also has a great hammock for you to relax in. The common area...

We came here after our room at Surfing Turtle was double-booked. We were surprised at this little hidden place and booked their last room available. Very inexpensive and nice. The staff were kind and patient, and were more concerned about our pleasure than their profit. They even let us eat up on a balcony though they had to carry heavy...

Nice spot to chill, drink and observe the sea. Good drinks and a mellow vibe. Surf and boogie boards are rented here as well. I recommend the banana smoothie however, others are offered too. The rooms are spacious and clean enough I guess.

Hotelito Oasis is a barebones location right on the beach. And honestly that's what I liked about it. It's cheap, and you can literally throw a rock into the water from your hammock. This location is also free of the rocky outcroppings that graces the shore to the north and south, so swimming right out front is perfectly safe. I...

Waited 2hrs for a ceviche. Local staff couldn't care less (unsurprising for Nicaragua). Food pretty decent on the whole but rooms are mega basic for $25. Tried to overcharge me For using a beat up old body board... Wayyyyy better places on the beach than here.

Stayed in a cabana for $29US and couldn't complain. Hammock outside the door with an amazing view. If you don't want sand between your toes the whole time, then this place min not be for you. Friendly staff and they allowed me to pull the car in at night.
