This is a beautifully created traditional Ryokan with every thing oozing of Japanese culture . The staff is extremely polite and helpful and they even try to give you western breakfast while they serve traditional Japanese breakfast . Wifi works pretty well and there are hot springs within . Location is just opposite the lake and bus stop is few...

The room and the service was nice, the staffs here were all willing to help the room guest. However since the location of the hotel, you can't see the Mt. Fuji from the hotel. The breakfast here was ok. If you want to live in a clean and nice hotel with more affordable price, this hotel will be your best...

This onsen hotel is expensive but it is expected for any onsen hotel that is facing the Lake Kawaguchiko. It can be reach by taking a taxi or the local "Red" line bus stopping at bus-stop number 10 or you can walk. We arrived in the morning to leave our luggage before heading out to walk the lake around. When...

Very friendly staff, and extremely flexible with my very non Japanese diet. They went so far as to go to a grocery store and pick me up some frosted flakes for breakfest, along with making pancakes and French fries just for me. They have great personal and group baths open all day and night.

We stayed in a room with a private onsen overlooking Lake Kawaguchiko. The onsen was fantastic and so relaxing. The room was large and we slept on futon that was set up by the staff every night. Breakfast was served in the hall with other partons and was all set up nicely when we got there. Dinner was served in...

The location was very convenient, easy to reach by walk from the station. Hotel's shuttle bus to/from the station is also available. Welcome drink, friendly and helpful staff people. It's very calming and quiet inside the ryokan. Evening meal is served right at your room, breakfast is given at the dining hall with all the other guests. Breakfast is humble...

Hotel was conveniently located. Near to Kachi Kachi Ropeway and within walking distance to Lake Kawaguchiko and the surrounding attractions. Room was traditional and clean. Delicious Kaiseiki dinner was served in room, after which the staff will rearrange the room and set up the traditional beds for the night. Our room was overlooking Mount Fuji in close proximity and luckily...

We chose Kasuitei Oya as the first stop on our whistle-stop honeymoon tour of Japan. We were a little bit worried about getting to Kawaguchiko and when we finally found the Highway Bus station in Shinjuku (it is in a brand new terminal so ignore the guide books) we discovered that they were fully booked until 3pm that afternoon so...

Let me sum up the key things that made my trip really good there: 1. Location & logistics - you can actually arrange with the folks at the hotel for a pick-up and should they be unable to, no worries... you are likely gonna get the tourist bus ticket anyway and so just drop off at stop 10 which kind...

It's so enjoyable staying in this hotel. I took my husband there for a mini honeymoon. It was my 4th time there. But my first time stay in this hotel - is old style but clean enough. Hot spring public bath is on roof top. Food is great, my husband really enjoyed it. I was ok with it. It is...
