The hotel is a bit aged and the service / food are just v average (dont expect the service level that you may hv experienced in some traditional onsen hotels). The onsen is a small and 'simple' but with fuji mountain view. The Fuji mountain view from the room and onsen is not very frontal as the hotel is not...

The hotel is very old but very traditional. No one barely speak English which was a bit difficult. The room literally has no bed in it just a mattress and a pillow which, surprisingly comfortable. Room is pretty big, it has its own small bathroom and a sliding door that separate the bathroom to the living and bedroom area. The...

The hotel offer a pick up service from the station which was helpful. Although in a prime lakeside location, the hotel is very run down and in desperate need of an upgrade and a thoroughly deep clean. Its furnishings remind you of the 1970's. We were shown to our 4th floor room which had great views of Mount Fuji (only...

Even if you're not a guest, you can pay to use the Onsen which gives great views of Mt Fuji. The glass railing is a little dirty but it's the most economical onsen with a view in the area. The max i would advise you to stay in the hot water is 5 minutes, after which you should take a...

This hotel is quite old. However, the view is great. Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko can be seen from the room. There are few restaurant nearby the hotel. A convenience shop is 15 minute walk. The price is a bit expensive but again view is really good.

The staff was super nice here. I felt so comfortable from the moment I walked in the hotel. We were upgraded to a suite, which was huge and clean. The room offers great Mt Fuji view. However, the building is quite old and amenities were quite limited. If you don't want to spend lots of money and would like to...

Nice ryokan style hotel by lake Kawaguchiko. You can see an amazing view of mount Fuji from the room. Breakfast is good. The only down point is the air conditioning is not so cold in the room. The onsen facility is nice and you also have a bath in the room.

We loved staying at this hotel. We arrived by Shinkansen from Tokyo at 9 am, had a really nice breakfast in a restaurant right opposite the station, and though we arrived at the hotel by 11 am and check in was only at 3 pm, the lady was very kind and checked us in as soon as the room was...

Getting to the hotel is easy, just ride the red line Retro Bus from kawaguchiko station and get off at stop number 10 (Azagawa Onsen Town), from there it's just a minute walk to the hotel. Just walk up to the front desk pay the 1200 for the onsen and they'll hand you the towels (I believe stay-in guests have...

The hotel looks old from outside and it does from inside too but it's very traditional. When I entered the room, I saw the shoe shelves and 3 different doors. One door is for the toilet, the other for bathroom and sink, and the big sliding door is the main room. When I came in, there was no bed, only...
