Our private onsen was the perfect temperature and had a fantastic view of Fujisan.
The bed was huge and comfy.
Lighting was really intelligently placed and there were plenty of plug sockets too.
The food in the restaurant (4 courses plus anything you want from the buffet!) was excellent both nights and they kindly adapted one course to suit us as we don’t eat meat.
Breakfast was generous too with a range of Japanese, other Asian and Western options.
There were few Westerners staying when we were there. The English language skills of the staff is variable but with smiling, guessing and google translate we all managed to make ourselves understood and we found everyone very friendly and patient with our horrible Japanese!
All in all, our stay was perfect and we hope to return one day soon!

From the rooms and open-air bath, you can enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi.
For dinner, in addition to appetizers, soup, and a main course, you can enjoy a half buffet, which allowed you to control your portion size, which was appreciated.
For the main course, you could choose from beef, pork, or spiny lobster, which made the meal even more enjoyable.
The hot spring is a calcium-sodium sulfate chloride spring, a colorless and transparent water with a pH of 7.47, and felt to have very good heat retention.
The facilities were clean, the staff were friendly, and it was a very satisfying inn.
As expected, this inn is worthy of being included in the top 100 hot spring inns selected by professionals.

一切都很好,房間有很好的富士山景觀,最麻煩是房間沒有潤膚露(訂的是最優的帶私人風呂房型,房價每晚¥88,000),潤膚露只放在公眾溫泉,這是唯一麻煩的地方。
Upon arrival, they immediately arranged for a wheelchair, and even though I only inquired two days before my stay, they prepared a message plate to celebrate my mother's birthday, and they went out of their way to cater to every need.
The room was clean and bright, the food was delicious, and best of all, the view of Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath was magnificent. I was very satisfied with everything.
I'm grateful for the smiles and attention to detail of the staff.
I'd like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

The room felt small.
There was hair on the in-house clothing and
There were a lot of fallen leaves in the open-air bath in the room.
It was also disappointing that we couldn't choose the time for dinner and it was decided to be an early one.
Dinner was very delicious.
When I asked a staff member outside about the shuttle bus to go see the autumn leaves, he was very rude and I got angry.
It was a shame that the birthday cake was also melted.
Overall, it was disappointing that the service level was low considering the price.

Look no further, this is the place to be.
The luxury suites offer a great experience; although with a very small bathroom.
Though you'll get fully compensated with the extraordinary view from your private onsen on to Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko.
We were lucky to enjoy a clear view on to Mt Fuji combined with the Sakura. Extraordinary.
In case you're not planning on paying the big bucks, would recommend to go for a different hotel. Simply because the rest of the hotel and its amenities are not on par.
Limited breakfast options, limited facilities, a bit further away from the city. Dinners varied along our stay; some were excellent, some others disappointed.
For Western visitors, English language skills aren't available all through the staff. So it becomes somewhat difficult to communicate with the staff on occasions.
It was wonderful to see the staff chatting happily and gently, and being very kind and accommodating!
My favorite hawaiian music was always playing and I was always soothing.
And the biggest emotion is Mt. Fuji right in front of you! It was a very impressive view!
I definitely want to come back here again! It was a windy terrace KUKUNA that made you think, “Wow!”
"All rooms have the same views. Top 4 floor rooms are gorgeous, and gorgeously expensive too, at least during April."Read full review
