Two stars might be too much... Don't even know where to start with this hotel... Let's start with the good things... The staff was very nice, the location is really good and the communal baths were decent... But this hotel is literally falling apart... Towels on the corridors to soak the dripping water from the radiators, panels hiding walls falling...

You pretty much know what to expect from here. It's very traditional, shoes are taken off at reception, and you're provided with slippers for your stay. We were only here for a night, and its a very simple hotel, and much of its decor is a throw back to years gone by, very beige! Though it is a pleasant change...

We stayed here as part of a tour. The bus couldn't access the drive so we had to walk up a steep hill by foot. The hotel is next to a cable car ride which takes you up to see good views of Mount Fuji. The hotel served a Japanese meal in the evening to our tour party and a...

The hotel is located right next to the Kawaguchiko Ropeway so it is easy to find. To access from the station, if arrived later than 5pm please take the taxi, the fare should be around 750-900 yen per trip. For bus fare it is a sightseeing bus available for 2 days consecutively at 1,200 yen per person. Consider to get...

We stayed here on a tour both for one night before and two nights after going up Mount Fuji so have no idea of price or value. Certainly, after the experience of 100 to a room at Station 8.5, anything would be an improvement. The Hotel has lovely views of the Lake and is located just next to the cable car...

The area is a little bit scruffy and very quiet in the evening with nothing to see or do. The sound of motorbikes was annoying. The hotel is okay but not of the same standard of the others on our tour. Not sure why we had to use the slip on shoes which in my mind are an unnecesary inconvenience...

A nice and small hotel with a nice view of the lake. The restaurant also serves an amazing dinner with an average breakfast selection. Rooms are small which is normal for Japan, the only complaint I have is that you have to call to turn the heater/air con on or off.

This property is located at the heart of kawaguchiko, well it was my pick because i was interested to have the "reflection view of Mt. Fuji" (sasaki view point). In a whole, busstops in kawaguchiko are numbered, and this property sits right above "bus stop 11", which makes it rather convenient, if you are on the sight seeing 2-day pass....
