Really interesting place to stay as it's completely jam-packed full of history. We even got to read some British magazines from the 1920s that were still in our cottage! Only small issue was that some of the doors in the rooms didn't close well/stay closed. But we would all definitely stay there again, such a unique place!

It was like travelling back into time with the beautiful old houses which are restored to there original glory. Our stay was great and even our pet enjoyed it with a nice enclosed back yard with a beautiful garden and big tree for shade. The staff was absolutely amazing - Amos is the smiling face of the Victoria Hotel and...

As the title of my review says "What more can one say" that hasn't already been said about the Tuishuise! The entire stay at Die Tuishuise was wonderful to experience. All the staff we encountered were a delight to deal with - from the lady who serviced our cottage Thandiwe (Victoria Cottage) to Max, to the ladies in the breakfast...

We spent a night here on our way to the coast. A Karoo gem! Friendly welcome on arrival. The house (Victoria cottage) is like a museum, so many antiques! We had supper at the Victoria Manor across the road and enjoyed a nice cooked meal. This was a lovely experience.

Die Tuishuise and Manor Hotel is absolutely delightful. All the staff are extremely helpful, from reception through to the workmen out doing jobs on the cottages. You are made to feel totally at home. The stunning cottages all located along the street are very tastefully restored. I was lucky enough to stay in Butlers, probably the furthest one from the...

Die Tuishuisie and Manor Hotel are one and the same thing, and both are delightful. We stayed in one of the restored homes which was a welcome surprise as we had booked a double room and expected to be in the hotel. The house was very comfortable with own kitchen and living area. We only used the little back courtyard...

We recommend this establishment. The restored house in which we stayed had 2 bedrooms, a shared bathroom,a lounge, dining area and kitchen. There was an enclosed garden suitable for pets. The dinner which we enjoyed in the main Hotel section was excellent. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you. We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed before and every time we enjoy a different experience in a different restored house. We stayed in House 50 since we had my mother with us and it was near the hotel and had secure parking at the back of the house. This house was fenced and very safe for our little puppy. The house consists of 2...

Die Tuishuise is my preferred accommodation when visiting Cradock. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The accommodation is unique and very clean. Everything you will need is available. Feels like a home away from home. Will recommend to any visitor to Cradock. The location is convenient is the centre of town. Excellent service.

We loved our stay at the Tuinhuise; we had a complete 3 bedroom house from the Victorian age at our disposal. The house was superbly appointed, meticulously clean and fresh firewood was supplied daily. An evening fire is a must in Cradock, which gets extremely cold in winter. But no fear, we also had electric blankets and we enjoyed every...
