I just returned from a two week trip to India and the Samode Palace was the jewel in the crown! WOW! What an experience. From the moment you drive in, everything is simply wonderful. Samode was my first palace visit - I've never seen anything like this. There are many wonderful rooms - mine was huge with two queen beds,...

From the moment you approach this hotel, you know you're staying somewhere special. I can say with certainty that I've never stayed at a hotel with as impressive an entrance, and once we entered the palace itself, the common areas were equally lovely. (Don't miss the Blue Room on the second floor.) We were upgraded to a 2nd-floor suite, which...

I could write a book on my experience here as it was magical ... my wife and I visited Samode Palace for a wedding and what a fairy tale wedding it was. So given that as the context I will offer the following: - Palace grounds - beautiful and well kept - Pools - beautiful and clean - Rooms -...

We visited for lunch and a private tour. This is a truly exquisite palace, breathtaking in every detail and extraordinarily well preserved. The modern attention to detail suggests that this royal family has not lost its elevated level taste!

Magnificent place unique experience ! The hotel comes with the village and the trails in the surroundings. Meet the locals, listen to their stories, get inspired by the Rajastani culture. Having said that, the hotel is the flying carpet of the Maharajas that takes you 300 years back in history in more than just one way.

We have an incredible stay at Samode palace. When we arrived they had upgraded our room to a honeymoon suite that had a beautiful canopy net over the bed. This is possibly the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. We had a tour of the palace and learned all the history behind the palace. Nierejan who leads the hotel...

Beautiful and charming old palace with some lovely old rooms in classic Rajasthani architecture and decor. The palace is beautiful with excellent service. The food is top notch in both its restaurants. The pool is wonderful. The village nearby could be a lot cleaner and less odorous however the troops of langur monkeys do make up for the lack of...

What an amazing and surprising oasis! I had no expectations for this lunch stop, but it was one of the highlights! Beautiful grounds, lovely dining room, great food, and an AMAZING hall complete with a guide! On my next trip I will choose to spend more time in Samode--it was hard to leave!

We just stayed for lunch in this hotel en route from Mandawa and going to Roopangarh. Arriving earlier than foreseen, we got a very nice tour of the whole building. Amazing ! Very quiet, very well maintained. As for the restaurant: excellent food and service, helpfull staff. As already mentioned by another review: must visit even if you don't stay...
