Midginbil Eco Resort is a working cattle farm on 400 acres with spectacular views of the escarpments of the World Heritage listed Nightcap National Park, ideally situated in the sub tropical Northern Rivers hinterland between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. Offering a variety of accommodation for over 150 guests, it is perfect for a 3 day country wedding getaway, family reunion, school camp and other group accommodation uses. In addition we provide supplementary meals included in the event package. We also welcome short stay guests in our glamping tents & bush camp sites.

My wife and I had our wedding here in February 2020, and we could not be happier with our choice. Mel and Russ were so helpful, they really took a lot of the stress out of our wedding weekend. The venue has ample on-site accommodation for all of your guests which is extremely convenient, and having the site for the whole weekend makes it much easier to make time for each of your guests. The ceremony site up on the hill is absolutely gorgeous, I really can't overstate what a picturesque place it is to get married. Overall, Midginbil is an absolutely five-star venue and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an intimate wedding in a truly beautiful location.

Midginbil Hill was the most amazing location for our wedding weekend! We had endless comments about how beautiful the property was and how great it was to have everything in one location. Our friends and family were able to stay the entire weekend and everything was taken care of by the beautiful owners. All meals were amazing and the rooms were beautiful and tidy. The glamping tents provided an incredible view! Both owners Tony and Carolyn were so helpful, relaxed and happy and nothing was too much trouble. The view from the fig tree is incredible... Our photographer wanted to take pictures from every angle with every backdrop! We would highly recommend getting married here and having a wedding weekend!

We got married at Midginbil Hill in June 2019. And WOW, what a fantastic venue. We couldnt have asked for anything more, all of our guests had an absolute ball being surrounded by the beautiful nature, family and friends. One of the highlights was the BBQ dinner buffet and breakfast provided by Midginbil, the guests are still raving about the quality of the food. They also cater for other diets with no problem at all. Tony and Carolyn, the owners went out of their way to help make our wedding perfect down to every small detail, they are always available if you need it, but also happy to disappear out of sight should you prefer. We love their company-Tony even joined us for our wedding speeches! Overall I would not have asked for a better venue to get married, Midginbil is just so perfect, from the stunning Fig Tree, to the 1961 FB special car we got to use for our bridal car, to the beautiful location near the campfire, and inside the rustic barn. Midginbil provides a blank canvas for those DIY weddings, it is affordable and best of all you get to spend 3 days with all of your guests rather than just one. We were thrilled to host our friends and family at Midginbil Hill for our wedding. Tony, Carolyn and Kate were a joy to work with leading up to and during the wedding. Despite the best laid plans the weather was not on our side. But despite this the show must go on and it did with a helpful hand, cheerful smile and a 'nothing is to hard' attitude from Tony and Carolyn. We booked Midginbil Hill Eco Resort for our wedding venue because it had the right country/rustic feel to it and had a range of onsite accommodation that catered for all of our guests. We also liked the option to book the venue for the entire weekend, maximising the time we got to spend together with all of our family and friends. Tony and Carolyn provided a beautiful venue, delicious, filling meals, excellent bar staff and made everything so easy to organise even from interstate. Thanks for a fantastic weekend!
