I was given a tiny room without windows. Room #46. Any kind of assistance requested was answered by a stoic "Sorry sir, this is a heritage hotel. We can not do it" There were a million mosquitoes in the room and I had to request them thrice to give me a mosquito repellent. I was kind of apprehensive that the...

Another beautiful place to stay, just out of town, (our driver took us in and out to the town itself). Amazing rooms and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. It seems a long way from civilisation to go all the way out there, but this resort was worth it.

We stayed for two nights at the Desert Resort. The surroundings are beautiful and the rooms are fantastic. Very unusual being essentially a 'mud hut' but they are luxurious beyond belief once you get inside. Huge bathrooms, air con and TV alongside cool paintings on the walls. The pool was nice and clean and the dining room is beautifully decorated...

Stayed in this property with a big group on Expedition. Loved everything about this property. Ambience, food, hospitality everything is so well done. The quirky mud rooms with Rajasthani art work are beautiful. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Driving down one of the worst roads ever, wondering if going to Mandawa was worth it became an afterthought as soon as I saw the resort. It is spectacular! Quiet, peaceful, quirky and unique, awesome restaurant and staff and a fabulous bar/lounge. It's made of adobe (or something similar...I hate to say "mud") with intricate whitewash designs. It reminded me...

I was there for conference. Rooms are nice cozy, all resort has village looks hence all walls of room are covered by sand layers which keeps room cool in afternoon and warm in night. Walls has typical Rajasthani artwork. We also enjoyed Rajasthani food, which was also tasty. Staff is very helpful.

It's an amazing resort which gives you a nice rustic vibe. When we went there, some event was going so our booked cottage was unavailable. To make up for it, these guys gave us a Maharaja Suite! The suite was humongous and absolutely beautiful. Apart from a few disturbbances from the event, the place is calm and peaceful, perfect to...

Mandawa has it's roots back in time to the ancient trading route between Persia and Far east. It used to be a capital of Shekhawati rulers. Today, Mandawa a hamlet in rustic lands of central Rajasthan. We stayed at Desert Resort for 2 nights in Feb, part of a large corporate group. Rooms & villas have been designed like a...

A nice rural experience with mud houses and a huge expanse of a playground for children to run amok. The pool is huge and the rooms are nice and clean with good room service. The hotel is dotted with little settings in and around the verandah that is ideal for sunbathing
