It was a wonderful stay at Whispering winds. Considering Mokokchung is a very remote place, this is the best option available. The owners take personal care. They provided us special food that we needed. I think, here we received the best wifi connection. One caution: The hotel is extending its capacity in the front. The construction work is going on...

I'm not sure about the other reviews but my wife and I had booked this hotel thinking it was the best hotel in Mokokchung but we're really disappointed. The room is generously sized and we'll appointed and the reception was friendly enough but that's where it stops. The professed views over the city, forget it, there are no views except...

Whispering Winds, tucked away at the highest point of the town. is the best small hotel in Mokokchung with economical rooms. It is very near to Circut House and opposite the official residence of Assam Rifle's Commander. The executive deluxe rooms on the second floor are large, have a balcony and gives a nice view of the surrounding misty hills....

We stayed in this hotel on 20th Feb' 2016 along with 2 more families. The booking was confirmed via phone only, no advance was requested. The charges for room was very reasonable. The hotel is situated atop a hill near the circuit house & town hall. Pros: 1. The size of the room was good enough for 2 adults. Rooms...

I stayed in Whispering Winds in Nov 15 while out on a motorbike ride with some friends in the North East of India. Before this I had stayed here five years back on a business trip. The hotel is situated on a height and the view of the valley from the room or terrace is absolutely breathtaking. However, it was...

I spent a night in Hotel Whispering Winds in June 2015. The hotel has a good view of the cloud decked hills. Though basic the hotel and its rooms are very clean. The room I stayed in was big with an extra bed for guest. You can be assured of a peaceful stay and good sleep. The food is good...

Surprisingly good hotel in a small town. Rooms are big and very clean and so is the bathroom. The location is at the top of a hill, but its not too far to police point, the centre of the town (steep gradient though). Staff is very helpful and can easily arrange a guide to take you to nearby Ao villages....

Nagaland accommodation rates are high. So the basic rooms do seem expensive however traveling through the region, they do seem do have the better rooms. Far from center, make sure you get all your ongoing tickets etc before you go up to the hotel otherwise you'll spend money on taxi. No wifi. Cable tv was available.

This hotel was very friendly and helpful, they even let me call the UK for free on their mobile as mine was not working. The room we had was very comfortable with all the facilities you would expect in a hotel (nice en suite, TV, sitting area and a balcony). There weas a comfortable sitting room where you could sit...

Its a nice comfortable hotel with wonderful views. Situated on DC hills, its a bit away from the main town and that's what makes the stay here totally worth it. Even better part is that the staff is quite knowledgeful and can easily help arrange for day trips to near by villages etc at reasonable rates. The food needs to...
