The hotel was booked by my client so wasn't sure what to expect as Langholm is a small town and I usually do a little research before I book hotels. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised as the hotel looked and felt fresh though had a traditional look and feel. The room was modern and clean with a comfortable bed....

Great food, very large portions, fair price. Surrondings adequate, service quick and friendly. Although the menu was basic, there were additional items on the special boards. Advise booking or arriving early in the evening.

Well, what can I say, we went for an evening meal with my Brother in Law and his wife and can say without question it was a pleasant surprise. The dining room is best described as cosy away from the main bar area. Service was swift and courteous. The Specials board was full of delights, with plenty of choice as...

A first class experience in a well run, friendly, family hotel in the lovely Scottish Borders. Made all the better by a wonderful eating experience at very reasonable prices. Excellent food, served by attentive but never intrusive staff.

We stayed here as we were visiting the Buccleuh Centre. The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. They provide a lovely breakfast too. Friendly owners. Their home made jams and chutneys are very nice. I would recommend. Langholm is a quaint village.

My room was well appointed clean, and quiet with its own bathroom. If I ever get back to the borders, I will without hesitation stay again. The staff by the was were excellent and...

Overall a very good, reasonably priced hotel. We stayed for just one night after a mountain bike ride as part of the Muckle Toon Adventure Festival. Our room was very clean with all the necessary amenities. We also are at the pub restaurant which served good food at reasonable prices. The hotel owners are very accommodating and were happy to...
