Had stayed here with family on 6-8-2016. Looks like pretty decent hotel. Spacious rooms & lot of space for car parking. Rooms were okay for 2 people. However, bed sheets could have been more hygienic. Food(veg) was just okay. Some snack items were good in the evening.

This is one of the oldest Hotels in Shimoga and well maintained. Rooms are big. But needs some upgradation when compared to the latest hotels in the area for competition. Food is awesome in this hotel. Its a must visit restaurant on the first floor even if you donot stay at this hotel.

Nice place to stay even though it is not ultra modern. Its value for money. Even though the rooms are in old style its neat and tidy. Its quite ok to stay for a day and does not pinch your pocket much.

Shimoga being a small town does not have many luxury or high end hotels except Royal orchid. Hotel Jewel rock is a budget hotel for a short stay and located in a convenient location in the centre of town. The hotel has a spacious parking lot and lobby area which also has their restaurant which serves good non vegetarian fare....

Stayed here for a single night for 8-10 hours. Decent place to stay for single night at this rate. Rooms were old style but clean . Staff were polite and courteous. Towel, bed sheets provided were clean. Old style room decor and TV.

Perfect budget hotel. Just not great and not so bad. Restaurant serves quality food. Ample parking space. View from top floors were good. Opt for AC suite. Book from MMT as one can get pretty decent discount.

Don't have any hope of excellent services, for shimoga this is good hotel with economic tariff, we were 6 had to take 2 rooms non-ac it cost us around 2500. Things to note - Neat bed, no mosquitos, clean bathrooms, centre of city, Restaurant & Bar available in...
