Rajwant palace resort is owned and managed by Rajvi of Rajpipala. Though it is difficult to maintain such 100 years old property but they are putting their best efforts to maintain the same. We stayed at this resort for few hours only but we were much impressed for their nice food cleanliness etc. The resort ravenue mainly depends on local...

I live in vadodara. As a weekend trip 12 people reached Rajvant Palace Resort. I still remember that question mark faces of our frnds. If at all there is absolute nothing exist. It is this palace. There is a small museum and nothing interesting there. There were just inner wears of people in display.

had a teribble experience .. the people at the reception refused to serve food at 230pm. when we asked that we would want to do some activities in the place , they simply and bluntly refused that there are any such activities around. 0 Hospitality and a Pathetic Waste of Land

Even for a cheap accommodation all one needs is cleanliness! Clean surroundings and clean room with clean bathroom is the basic requirement. Yes this is a heritage hotel but the place is rotting and so unkempt that I would not stay here even 1 night.

To write this review I had it easy because I found that if used Gujarat Tourisms description of this "Heritage"(crumbling museum) hotel, all I had to do was replace every positive adjective (descriptive word) with a negative so (good) becomes BAD. Read ahead with help of Gujarat Tourism and my corrections: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From the Gujarat Tourism webpage on heritage hotels...

We stayed for one night at Rajvant Palace Resort and the standard was as it often seems to be in indian small town hotels: dirty and worn down. Besides that we left the hotel with a bad aftertaste as we had to chase mosquitoes in our room all night and the man at reception demanded 100 rupees extra than the...

Rajvant Palace is a beautiful place to arrive at. The heritage is immediately seen, and the rooms witheir high ceilings are atmospheric. However, the same cannot be said for the catering arrangements. Of the four times I had meals there, three of those requests from the menu were met with 'not available', not even cornflakes at breakfast! The service was...
