We stay there for 2 nights. Rooms were neat and clean. This hotel is adjoining to Amul Dairy so the place is surrounded by full of activities most of the time but still very peaceful. It has its own pure veg. restaurant Gopala. The Hotel offers complementary breakfast from 7-10

The first thig we noted when shown our room was the overpowering stench of cigarettes - we requested a different room, but it was even worse. The staff member attempted to cover the foul odour by spraying a chemical, with little success. The bathroom was not clean - there was

The hotel, as such, is good and conveniently located. Rooms was very spacious with comfortable bed. There were no noise inside the rooms. The view from the room was above average. I stayed here with my wife and daughter. However what we hated was the kind of service they provided. On the first day of our stay, the food that we ordered took a long time to be delivered and that too after several reminders. Even after then, they didn't provide spoons for which we had to call them several times. They admitted that they are running short of staff due to which the service is not upto the standard. But whatever, their food tasted amazing - however I would like to clarify that this food is not prepared from their own restaurant - but from a different restaurant located just adjacent & with which they have a tieup. The most horrible part of our stay was the breakfast. I had opted for room including breakfast (rate for this was higher) which means I had actually paid ~ Rs. 200 extra for the breakfast - just to ensure a peaceful & nice breakfast. However upon reaching their restaurant for the Breakfast at about 9.30 am (this was well within their allowed breakfast timings which end upto 10 am), the terrible experience started. The people (actually there was just a single guy in the whole restaurant) had to be called again and again to take our order. He seemed to be least interested and we actually had to ask him twice for water. Then it took ~ 20 minutes for our breakfast to be served. There was no buffet or menu provided and the guy told us that we can order only from 4-5 choices the he offers (omlette, poha, veg-sandwich, bread-butter, tea and coffee). When we asked for milk for our kid, he not-so-nicely told us that this has to be ordered separately. The omlette served by them was bland and the break had 'zero butter'. We had to actually ask him to get the butter which turned out to be Margarine and not butter (funny thing is that the hotel is located right beside Amul plant!). When I asked for a second serving - I was quite hungry - the waiter told us that as per their hotel & their restaurant policy the guest can not repeat-order any of the item (isn't it weird ? Who are they to decide what the guests should eat - remember the breakfast wasn't even complimentary - we had paid extra by choosing an option of room + breakfast). I was already quite cheesed off till now but didn't want to create a scene when my family was accompanying me. So I asked him to bring veg sandwich. The sandwich was awful - one can get better sandwich by paying Rs. 20 to a road side vendor. And the ketchup - it was some cheap 'orangeish red coloured' watery sauce or whatever it is called. Anyway, we checked out soon after having our breakfast. So all in all, I would give following rating : 4 star to the room. 2 star for the service. 0 star for the breakfast. 2 star overall.
Do they have western style bathrooms?
"Avoid this hotel"
"Ask for a room not on the front of the building to avoid hearing some of the cars and motor bikes horning."
"Dont forget to have their unlimited Dinner Option"
"Take a road facing room."
