Stayed in this resort at the end of Jan 2021. An absolute value for money resort with intact, well designed and spacious rooms. The garden outside the rooms was an added advantage to sit back, relax and do bonfire. Accordingly, Safari tours arranged by them were perfect, well-planned and at a very competitive price. The only down point was the food. Variety and taste could be improved. Overall, a pleasant experience! Will certainly recommend this resort to those who are planning to visit Ranthambore!
Manager behaviour is very rude he thinks he is only the one who has resort in Ranthambore rooms are not clean staff is also very rude. Beware dont book direct frm hotel he can cancel the booking at a time
The property is very well maintained. It is conveniently located just 5 mins drive away from the Safari entry gate (for Zones 1-6). The staff is pleasant and efficient. Food (esp. chicken dishes) was excellent. Food is a bit over priced and there might be an issue of not all dishes on the menu being available. Don't expect an awesome Dal Makhni but a Dal Tadka would be very home style and must try. If you are traveling in group, go for the tent option. These are very well constructed, have AC, a nice sit-out area and attached bathroom (surprisingly big). The tents do not have TV and locker if that is a requirement. If you are a small family traveling, go for the room option for all the facilities along with TV & locker. They also have a pool (which was closed as per Government COVID restrictions) and some nice garden swings. The bonfire in the evening is chargeable. They also have souvenir shop in the premises. The shop owner is quite friendly and gives some great day trip suggestions. Do enjoy a small chat with him. The property also has their own organic farm behind the tents. The farm keeper/ guard is a friendly person who loves to give a tour of the garden. Ranthambhore is as such a small and beautiful place. Don't expect much activity there. Just relax and enjoy your stay in nature's lap. Don't forget to try the fresh guavas being sold alongside the road or any other seasonal fruit depending upon the travel dates. …
The Sher Garh resort is very peaceful place to stay. Rooms are clean and food is very hygienic & rooms are also big. Resort is close to national park, gardens and playing area are good. There are heritage rooms also which give glimpse of Indian heritage . the price and service are good and affordable. A must visit resort.
We stayed at the hotel from 25.12.202 to 27.12.2020. The rooms were big enough and we're well maintained. The property itself is kind of good. It is located towards the end of the town I guess. What made our stay wonderful was the hospitality offered by the staff and the food. I will definitely recommend this hotel.
